Laura hummed to herself as she tied the laces of her boots. To any outsider, it would seem like Laura was content. Carefree even.
But the reality was that she was nervous.
Beyond belief.
Inside of her was a thundering storm of nervousness and anxiety. And who could blame her? She was just mere moments away from performing in front of the biggest crowd they have ever had.
But she remained steadfast and calm, calming herself down by doing the most trivial of things. Like tying her shoes for what must have been the fifth time in the last ten minutes.
Her nose wrinkled and her anger rose as she smelled that all familiar smell of burning tobacco.
"Do you mind doing that outside?!" she screamed into the closed bathroom of their dressing room.
