As angry as she was with her sister, Adelaide was delighted to be home in the castle. Although it was late and most of her siblings were in their beds, those that were still awake had been waiting to greet them when they arrived.
Niso and Donan had been eager to hear about her time in Laoshi as they clung to their elder sister. Pansa was quieter, her eyes shrewd as she considered Adelaide.
