"He should be tried for treason," Armel growled and the others around him did not disagree.
The Cankurian way was to kill traitors. To them he deserved the death penalty for even daring to harm the Kumari. She was surrounded by Cankurians; Armel, her brother, Ojo... The only non-Cankurian in the room was her sister Adelaide and she wasn't saying anything. Bae wished more than anything that her father was with her. He'd always had a knack for seeing things differently to the others around him. In fact, Bae would have appreciated the entire Sevens input at this point. For the briefest of moments, she regretted sending them away.
"I want to meet with the advisors, Adelaide," Bae interrupted the tirade of anger coming from the Cankurians.
"Yes, Kumari." Adelaide said before making a quick exit.
"You aren't seriously considering letting him off the hook?" Kael asked angrily.
"It isn't as simple as one traitor getting his comeuppance. I have to consider the entire realm."
