For the first time since entering the room, Armel looked around.


"Best in the caves, I hear," Bae replied conversationally as she made her way towards her private bathing room that sat just off her bedchamber. It was perhaps her favourite part of the Cankurian Palace. The walls were much like the rest of the walls in the cave palace, jutting rocks and sharp, angular lines. From some unseen hole or crevice, a waterfall gushed down the furthest wall, falling into a warm, bubbling pool of water.


Returning with a basin of the liquid, Bae searched her dressing table for a handkerchief then approached her future Cankurian mate. Suddenly, Bae's nerves caught up with her as she realised they were completely alone and in her bedchamber. She'd never had a man in her bedchamber before and the sheer thought of it had a blush covering her cheeks.


"Are you blushing, Saki?" Armel teased her from where he sat on the edge of her obscenely large bed.
