Bae had quickly gotten used to waking up beside Armel and so to find him gone when she woke up was a bit of a shock.


Armel?' She called to him, as she looked about the room.


Just as she was about to climb down from the bed to go looking for him, he popped his head through the doorway to their bathing chamber.


"Morning, Saki," Armel said, his voice still husky from sleep as he approached her.


His lips met hers as he climbed back into bed, pinning her down beneath him.


"I'm keeping you here for at least an hour."


Bae conceded willingly, returning his kiss with vigour.


"Maybe two," Armel amended as he pulled her nightdress over her head.


Sometime later, the Kumari and her mate made their way downstairs. As always, Ojo had a joke or two ready for them.


"I didn't think we'd see you two at all today," he said between huffs of laughter. "Looks like I might lose that bet."
