Chapter 234: It Was 1983

Kenneth's POV:

London, Present Day

My daughter never wanted to know about my time in Paris. Unlike her brothers, they were quick to accept the reality of our family. Not Clara though. She didn't want to know. She didn't want to know who her mother was.

My baby girl is pacing the room in front of me. She's angry, furious even. The story was released by the press forty-eight hours ago and now she has no choice but to accept our family's past.

I'm not sure how much I should tell her, I don't know how much she wants to know, if anything at all.

My eldest son Gabriel is watching her closely from where he is hovering in the doorway. I'm surprised Clara has even let us into her apartment. The look on her face makes it pretty clear that she really wants us gone.

"Will you let me tell you about..." I begin.

Clara surprises me when she turns on the spot so that she's now facing me. Her eyes give away her anger.

"I don't want to know," she tells me.
