Chapter 318: I Feel Free

Instead of searching for the job I desperately need, Aurora insists on going shopping and the idea of being able to go out without having to look over my shoulder is too good to resist.

Our morning is spent going from shop to shop, trying clothes on and gossiping about the rest of our friends.

"I went to visit the guys yesterday," Aurora is telling me.

"Yeah?" I reply, my eyes not leaving the dress that I'm considering trying on. I think Jarrod will like it.

"Without you, that flat is disgusting."

I laugh. The boys had never been the best at keeping the place tidy when we'd lived together.

"You might want to move someone into my old room," I say. "Maybe someone who cleans."

"That's a nice dress," Aurora says pointedly.

I nod. She's right. It's nice. It's brighter than I'd usually wear but I like it. I like it a lot.
