Our night isn't as crazy as Ali might have wanted but we have a laugh and I'm glad they dragged me out of the house. We spend most of the night dancing and drinking. Jarrod messages me frequently, telling me about what he and the guys are getting up to, but the girls keep stealing my phone away whenever I try to reply.
Ali lines up a tray of shots for us.
"You might want to get your liver checked," Clara tells her with a giggle.
Ali sticks her tongue out in response before saying, "my liver is perfectly healthy, I'll have you know."
"Yeah... show me the blood test results, then I'll believe you."
The girls ask about my wedding dress and what shoes I'll be wearing. They ask about the flowers and all those little details that Jarrod had been so insistent on.
It's only when we're on our way home that it hits me how utterly amazing it is that I'm marrying Jarrod.
I could have lost him, I think to myself, not just once or twice, but countless times.
