Chapter 336: I Knew This Was A Bad Idea

Grace's POV:

I knew this was a bad idea.

I told them this was a bad idea.

But they didn't believe me.

Aurora has now introduced me to Theo and abandoned me to my supposed new home and its inhabitants. Theo wants to go out and celebrate my arrival, a housewarming of sorts. Cameron on the other hand, keeps giving us both evils, although I'm not completely sure what I've done wrong.

Theo is a bit of a flirt, and his easy banter is making me feel a lot more welcome than Cameron's hard stare.

I find myself agreeing to his suggestion and before long the three of us are at the bar around the corner.

Both guys get a lot of attention from the women in the bar, but at least for the moment they don't seem to care. They're not oblivious though. That's clear in their mannerisms. They're working the crowd, even from this distance.

"You draw attention," Theo says, leaning across the table towards me.
