Chapter 348: Just Call Me Doctor

Grace's POV:

"Where is he?" I ask.

I feel sick and I have a nasty headache. They've given me some painkillers but so far I don't feel much better. The doctor says I have a concussion.

I want Cameron with me but he's f*cking disappeared.

Aurora and Landon exchange a look. That look tells me everything they're trying not to say. He's gone.

"I didn't know you were dating," Aurora says, changing the subject.

"Yeah, it's recent."

"Ah..." I can tell where she's going to go next with this conversation. She's going to warn me off him. She'll tell me that he doesn't do relationships. She'll tell me not to expect too much from him. But she's wrong.

"Where is he?" I ask again.

"He said he was just getting some air," Landon tells me.

"GRACE!" I hear my mum scream.

Looking up, I see her and my dad running towards me. They looked scared out of their minds. Just behind them is Cam. He looks shaken, possibly even more scared than my parents.

My mum approaches my bed, taking my hand.
