Walker's POV:
Georgia is headstrong. Courageous. A little bit stupid. Downright reckless. And completely adorable.
I'm furious with her, still scared that this all might be a figment of my imagination. I cling to her hand, memorising everything about it and the sight of the woman before me. Asleep in a hospital bed, having just undergone surgery AGAIN, she looks weak, something I know she's not.
Her parents are stood by the window, staring out at the city outside, waiting for their daughter to wake up.
While she was in theatre I was introduced to Rachael and Will, Georgia's siblings, who are now sat on the other side of Georgia's bed from where I'm sat. They aren't talking as they watch their sister sleep.
My heart should have settled when the doctor told me that she was alive and the surgery had been a success but it didn't. I'd felt a moment of relief before my fear had returned. I'd told myself I just needed to see her, hold her and then all would be okay.
