"Good morning," said a voice behind me.

My neck stiffened.

No, please no. Why was it that whenever you wanted to stay away from something, that something found you?

"Morning," I replied, not looking back.

Tristan half circled me and stopped, facing me. "Is it a good morning?" He cocked his head, flashing me his mind-blowing eyes.

"Why wouldn't it be?"
