NARRATIVE of WARD COURIER/CONFERENCE with RICK REYNARD
March, 2010
RUSKIN, NY
I processed things on the afternoon and evening of the day you have just read about. I could think about very little else. A few insights came to me.
As I have said before, I have a pretty good handle on paranormal tradition in general and on the general paranormal in upstate New York. I know what the mainstream world thinks. Local representatives of the FBI and the DEA seem to concur. They had asked penetrating questions about a fictional story I had written a decade before and certain aspects of folklore, including the abstract and probably chimerical subject of vampires. They kept hammering on the properties of silver. Clearly, they knew something they wouldn't tell me, and I had run out of ideas.
