Chapter 100: Chaise

I had seen way more bits and bobs of people's body parts than was necessary. After the first three, I grew kind of numb to it. At first, I was just embarrassed to be sitting there watching them. Then, I was kind of horny. But even that wore off after a while. Now it was similar to Kira's memories of watching the cows out in the pasture. It was just sort of nature, and you just let it be. I fell back in the chaise. Liam gave me a sideways glance, crossed his arms, and leaned back against the backboard on booth part of the weirdly shaped chaise. He hadn't said a word to me all night. I still couldn't figure out if he was pissed or not talking to me because the music was too loud.
