Chapter 54: A New Strategy

Bryce was not having a really nice day, since there was an argument between two of his men earlier, that ended up with a fight inside the colony.

He had to deal with both of them, and that was one of the things he didn’t really like to do as a leader.

When the feud was finally solved, he got back to his office to think about other things he had to do.

Suddenly someone knocked on the wooden door and he asked them to enter.

Darius, his most loyal henchman, opened the door and said with a really serious voice:

“That guy Nick is here to see you again. And he’s not in a very good shape, I must say.”

Bryce shrunk his shoulders and asked Darius to bring the guy in.

When he put his eyes on Nick, he understood what Darius said.

The man had wounds all over his face and arms, and he was walking bent forward, with one of his hands on his stomach.

It was not a very nice image indeed.

But Nick was a bit uneasy as he entered the office.
