We stand outside the concrete wall dome, hiding between trees with breeze against our skin. Jack kiss my forehead before he leaps down from the tree branch. 'Please, be safe,' my heart begs. The sound of ice crushing as he walks towards the dome makes me more anxious. No delay, no hesitation. There's only now or be damn forever.
Jack signals me from the small gate at the side of the dome. I give the Reapers a nod. I pull my mask up and clench to my sword. The real Reaper War begins. I climb down from the tree and hearing the others landing their feet softly too. I pick up my feet and constantly checking my watch.
Jack gives me a lift pushing me into a vent.I have never considered myself claustrophobic. I guess I will after this. Not even a minute passby, I'm already tired of crawling in the tight space. 'If my arm fats aren't gone, workouts are fake. That's a fact I'll hold onto,' I thought as I curse under my breath one after another. I throw in a powder bomb and all the men starting to scream. They're blind by the powder and lungs fill with it too. Not bad for a powder bomb. I jump in and found the door button immediately. Thankful for my over-thinking for helping me prepare 3x better.
The sound of machine gun firing continuosly as blood splatter across the room. I hid under a table, covering my ears preventing from temporary death. I hear a breath behind me. I grab my sword and stab him. I'm not even bothered to turn around to look. It annoys me way to much when someone gets to close to me. Mostly, the gender men. A head peep from the corner of the table. My body jolts. He always scare the lungs out of me.
I push things of the control table. "Vi, do you found it?"
His voice sound serious. We couldn't find the main door button. " It's not here. We have to bring them in regardless. There's too many of them for us to fight alone."
"Where do you think the button is?" I sigh at his question. "They use a card."
I said to him as I grab a card from a dead man's coat. "There's 3 more gate we have to open. "
Someone knocks on the steel door and we exchange looks. I climb up back to the vent and Jack follows me from behind. We separate our ways. I swipe the card on the back door and it opens. My old Reaper pal ready as always to help me, Moris. " My dear, be careful. Worry about yourself. I'll serve you like wise."
I nod and climbs back into the vent. 'No. No. It can't be.' There were no vents connecting to the prisons. I crawl through every vent trying to find Jack. Every old Reaper members are fighting for others life. I have truly created a family. There's no sign of Jack at all. I have pledge and I won't die yet until Jack is in my arms again. I jump out from the vent and pulling my hooded robe down, covering most of my face. I swipe the card at the door and there it is.
The walkway to the prison building. I tilt my head to the right. A guard standing there bows his head a little. Rae has been waiting for me. 'Was it Jack's idea?' I ask myself. I look around. There are guards guarding every floor, every 2 feet . Everything seems to be going smoothly.
" The head wants to see this person," Rae demands the guard to let us go through and they did. The inside apparently doesn't have that many guards. "Rae, where's Jack? Did he gave this idea?"
"He's caught. He has too many attacks at once and the rest were busy fighting. They didn't realise he was struggling. He's in a chamber," I stop in my tracks and swing my sword at him. One push and the sword is in his throat. "Where?"
I slash his throat. A traitor. He was behind this too. I have always doubted my strength but I know its powerful when someone plays with what I love. Anyone who passes by are slash to pieces. I don't care if they were a good person or bad. They had it coming. I took the stairs to the 14th floor. Every Reaper is filled in these prison. I stand in front of Jack's prison. He mouthed 'Vi, no!'
Everything seems to be happening so fast. I'm in a glass wall prison. Right next to Jack's.
The prison is facing everyone. We are able to see everyone and I am able to see the cause that I have made.
