A rainy day

This day had the same shuddering of the leaves and the same dry breeze that made us take off our cloaks and leave them back at the inn before we braced the third day of chasing down the Phantom Thief.

We stood by the side of the road at the outskirts of the town as we waited for another merchant to pass by. Well, only I and Prince Alistair remained standing while the others sat cross-legged on the grass after waiting too long. Lavi and Erion were on their usual bickering—doing their utmost best to spite each other and deciding for themselves that whoever gets mad first loses. They've been at it for thirty minutes straight.
