Floralia (4)

Once the theatric was finished, we got out of the square. Lavi and Erion were dragging the stuffed toys we got from the festival booths. We stopped by the tables and chairs that were lined at the sides of the streets and beside lampposts.

There were trees too, and on their branches, tied with threads, were flowers encased in crystallized bubbles drooping from various heights above us. These decorations glinted elegantly below the moonlight. They looked delicate and alluring.

The boys then placed the prizes on the table. Silently, I was contemplating which one I would take home with me tonight.

"I can't believe what we just saw." Althea exhorted as her hands fiddled with a pink teddy bear's stomach.

"I know right?" Erion exclaimed, dark eyes a shade brighter in delight. "It was…"

"Romantic."

"Horrible."

"What?" Althea spat. "You enjoyed that shit?"
