Hallucination

Circe had me swinging my arms to different directions. I answered her as truthfully as possible. Lying would be of no use, anyway. I'd flinch and jolt if moving it in a certain way hurt. Those reactions gave me out in the first place and Circe just waited for my nods to affirm it.

I awoke to Lavi dozing at the edge of bed, his head rested on top of his arms as he sat on the wooden chair.

The Blessed Candles seemed to have been replaced since they were now taller and they burned even brighter. The curtains were now opened, allowing the moonlight to pool on the bedroom carpet.

Lavi's hair gave off a brighter shade of blue beneath the different kinds of luminescence that had streamed this room. The full moon exposing itself outside of the window, the serene flames of the candles—they provided the perfect background for Lavi's sleeping figure.
