Time is an expensive thing. You can choose to waste it or to use it wisely. If you have a lot of free time then this lesson is useless to you, so see you next week. If you're a student like me or have a job -even a part-time job this will be useful.
Although I posted on VTO every day, I don't write chapters every day. I write chapters 3 days a week. I write 3 chapters on Monday, 1 chapter on Wednesday, and 3 chapters on Friday.
Wouldn't it be simpler to do it on the weekends? No? Okay. Simple! Easy breezy, done. See you next week.
No, unfortunately, that isn't as simple as it seems on the outside. There is more to it than it seems, sometimes you won't be able to make your date with your computer (or whatever you work on).
I work from 5 to 7 because it only takes me an hour to write and another hour to edit it then re-edit the chapter I'm posting and then re-read the chapter I just wrote. I like to get confusing when writing.
All my silliness beside, writing 3 chapters every day may cause you writers' block. Maybe something like 2 chapters a day would do some good. I'm very childish so it's hard to get my imagination to stop once it starts going so I try to brain dump it all into the computer.
Alright, let's get realistic, that was when I was new to writing and it was so exciting I almost didn't want to stop.
Now? I'll probably write the first 15-20 chapters in about a day or two and then write once or twice every week.
That way, I'll be ahead of time and won't have to worry about writing the chapter on the day it's supposed to be released.
See you next week!
