"How about we have a lazy day today?" Olivia asked, running her hands lazily through Emma's hair.

"Hmm," Emma hummed in response, too tired to form a longer reply.

The two of them had stayed up the past night watching reruns of Orange Is The New Black and didn't sleep till three in the morning.

"Thank goodness we don't have school today," Emma mumbled.

"Yeah, I'd be fucking tired if we did. I probably would've skipped," Olivia said honestly.

"You wouldn't," Emma looked up to meet the older girl's eyes.

"I would, but not if you wanted me to stay,"

The younger brunette nodded her head. "I won't let you skip classes," she said firmly. "I want you with me. I want to be able to see you, because you make me smile,"

"Smile?" Olivia asked, amused.

"Yeah, smile. Way too much," Emma replied shyly.

"You're so cute,"

"Thank you," she said, leaving a few kisses along Olivia's jaw line.

"Can we consider it a date?" the green-eyed girl asked, fighting to the urge to let out a moan.

"Consider what a date?" Emma asked, pulling away from her.

"This lazy day,"

"Are you asking me out?" the younger girl asked, amused.

"Not out, exactly...since we're staying in. Unless you wanna go somewhere? But only if you say yes, because it'd be embarrassing if you didn't—"

Emma pressed her lips against Olivia's. "Yes, let today be a date then,"

•••

"Olivia! S-Stop!" Emma said in between breaths.

No one knew how they got from watching "The Notebook" to this.

Olivia sat on top of Emma, tickling her, the movie still playing in the background.

"Say I'm is the sexiest woman alive!"

"I-I'm the sexiest woman alive!" Emma laughed.

Olivia started tickling her harder. "You know what I mean! Say it!" the green-eyed girl chuckled.

"Fine! Olivia Jauregui is the sexiest woman alive!" Emma shouted.

As Olivia ceased her tickling, Emma whispered, "And I love her,"

"There, now that wasn't so hard wasn't it?" Olivia smirked, not hearing what Emma had said.

The younger girl shot a playful glare in her direction.

"You're welcome," she younger brunette said aloud.

Olivia laughed and got off the smaller girl. When the duo looked at the television, the credits were rolling, causing the two of them to laugh.

"Well now that's done with, what should we do?" Emma asked, running her fingers through Olivia's hair.

"Well girlfriend, I think we should head downstairs and maybe...bake something?"

Emma stopped her actions and looked at Olivia with a big smile on her face.

The green-eyed girl looked at her confusedly. "What?"

"You called me your girlfriend," Emma said softly, causing Olivia to blush.

"O-Oh! It was probably just the slip of the tongue, it wasn't on purpo—"

"I like it,"

Olivia went wide-eyed. "You do?"

Emma nodded enthusiastically.

"Well then, that was a nice mistake to have been made by yours truly," Olivia replied, kissing her girlfriend firmly on the lips.

•••

"What should we bake?" Olivia asked, peering into the cabinet.

"Can we make pancakes and waffles?"

"Really?" she looked at Emma sceptically.

"Oh please, please, please with extra sugar on top?" the brown-eyed girl clasped their hands together.

Olivia sighed in defeat and gave in, a big smile on her face.

How could she resist the cuteness?

"Okay, then we're gonna need batter. Do you have any?" she asked.

Emma thought for a moment and went to look in one of the cabinets. "I can't see, I'm too short!"

Olivia snorted and smirked at the younger girl.

"Don't laugh, help me!" Emma whined.

The green-eyed girl complied and went over to support her girlfriend by the waist at she stood on a stool to get a better view of the contents in the cabinet.

"No...I don't see any batter— nope, definitely no batter here," Emma mumbled to herself.

"Well, let's go get some then," Olivia suggested.

"So much for a lazy day...why is there never any batter when we need it?" Emma pouted.

Olivia helped her off the stool.

Emma sighed. "Alright, let me get changed first. These clothes are killing me,"

"You do know you're wearing your pyjamas from this morning, right?" Olivia looked at Emma from head to toe.

Emma rolled her eyes playfully. "As a matter of fact, I do know. You don't expect me to go out in my PJs, do you?"

"As a matter of fact, that's exactly what I thought you'd do," the older girl laughed.

"Okay fine, let's go then. I'll wear my PJs," Emma nodded her head.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes,"

Another confident nod from the young Cuban.

Olivia chuckled at her girlfriend's cuteness.

"Alright, grab your keys and let's go!"

"I'm driving," Emma said.

"Oh no honey, I'm driving. The last time you drove, we took forty-five minutes to get from here to Ava's, which is fifteen minutes away," Olivia pointed out.

"I couldn't help it! Those dogs on the side of the street looked so helpless! How could I not pull over?"

Olivia stretched her hand out and gestured for the keys, to which Emma complied and handed over with a sigh.

"Now let's go," the two girls intertwined their fingers and walked out to Olivia's car.

•••

"Cass!" Olivia shrieked when Emma bumped into her, spilling milk on her shirt.

"Liv, I'm s-so sorry!" Emma said in between her laughter.

"It's my favourite shirt," the green-eyed girl whined.

"Alright, let's get you cleaned up. You should've just worn your PJs like I did,"

"If you must know, I would be equally upset if this was my PJs," Olivia clarified in a matter-of-fact tone. Emma rolled her eyes.

They quickly paid for their items and got into the car.

Emma opened the glove compartment and grabbed the packet of tissues Olivia kept in there.

"I hate you," Olivia mumbled softly as Emma wiped her shirt.

"I love you," Emma dropped the tissue and kissed Olivia.

Their lips moved in sync, their tongues fighting for dominance. Fingers tangled in each other's hair, Emma moved forward and sat on her girlfriend's lap.

When air became a problem, the two of them pulled away, breathing heavily.

"I take back my words. I love you so much," Olivia mumbled, peppering Emma's face with kisses.

"Yeah, yeah. Now let's go home. I want some pancakes and waffles!"

Olivia laughed and stuck the key in the ignition. The engine roared to life.

"Sexy," Olivia groaned.

"Me?" Emma asked innocently.

Olivia shook her head.

"My car," she smirked.

Emma clicked her tongue and turned away.

Olivia reached out and tapped Emma's shoulder for attention.

"I'm kidding. You're very sexy my love,"

The young cheerleader shot her a toothy smile and kissed her on the cheek.

Olivia intertwined their fingers and drove them home quickly, wanting to make the most out of the time they had left.
