chapter 1

Tonight Megumi was walking around the streets of Japan in some sketchy part of it where criminals usually were around a lot and other stuff would go down. Lower grade curses were also around this part of Japan.

Anyway he was looking for a child a 5 year old boy named Kazue the reason he was looking for this child was quite sad and something he would never forget he couldn't really believe it himself.

Before this. Megumi was out on a case with His friends and Gojo somewhere and they decided to split up since it was kinda in a big part of Japan.

Everyone went their separate ways and Megumi went one way and the way he went took him to an alley way where he found a man sitting against the wall dying from a stab wound in his stomach clenching something in his right hand.

Megumi then went over to try and help the man and as he kneeled down next to him. The man grabbed one of his wrists with his free hand and put the picture he had in his right hand. In Megumi's hand.

He then looked at it and saw it was a picture of a little boy maybe about 5 year's old and had black hair with blue eyes.

This Unknown Man then started begging him to find his son and protect him and even take him in and raise him.

Megumi didn't understand this at all and tried to tell the man he couldn't.

But the man insisted it had to be him nobody else.

And started talking about how his son was his only blessing in life the only one he cared and loved the most in the world his son was everything to him. And kept saying it had to be him.

The way the man sounded and the look in his eyes made Megumi agree to his dying request. And with that the man passed. But not before telling him where to find Kazue.

So he abandoned the mission to go find this child who now had nobody now. Nobody but Megumi who agree to the man's request.

Anyway as he was looking around for this boy. He soon saw a little boy matching the description of the kid. This kid was just walking around in a shirt and shorts and nothing else no shoes or jacket and it was a cold night.

Megumi then walked over to this kid and asked. Having no clue what to really tell the kid.

Megumi : are you Kazue?"

The boy stop walking and looked at him and Megumi could see how cold hungry and tired this boy looked. But anyway the boy then said.

Kazue : ...yeah?...who are you?"

Megumi : I am Megumi Fushiguro a first year at Jujutsu high...I-

Kazue : your a jujutsu sorcerer then?"

Megumi : yes...how d-

Kazue : my dad is one...he used to go there...says to trust and go with the one who comes to me... where's my dad?"

Megumi : .....he told me to come pick you up and go with me....I promise everything will be alright. I'll tell you more later okay?"

Kazue : ....ok..."

Kazue looked so weak and getting weaker so Megumi stood up and picked up Kazue who let him and Kazue immediately started falling asleep.

He couldn't bare to tell this kid he father was dead but was going to have to tell him eventually. But right now he had to get this kid to the school and get him help.

But suddenly Gojo showed up with Itadori and Nobara and Gojo asked.

Gojo : so this is why you abandoned the ca-!

Megumi : Itadori give me your jacket"

Itadori : umm okay?"

Itadori then took off his jacket and gave it to Megumi who took it and cover the kid with.

Gojo : who's the kid?"

Megumi : I'll explain later right now this kid needs help"

Gojo : got it I'll get us an uber"

Later back at the school the kid was give food and clothes and was now sleeping on Megumi's bed in his room during this. Megumi told Gojo what happened and was now talking outside with him.

Gojo : wow...heard a body was discovered around that alley... probably gonna be at the

coroner... I'll go by later if they find something. So what are you going to do now?"

Megumi : I...I really Don't know? I can't do this but I promise that guy I would...it's just strange...he knew exactly who I was and said his son had to go with me nobody else..he was very insisted on that...but I Don't understand why?"

Gojo : hmm...you didn't know the guy?"

Megumi : no?...but something felt off about them... like I did but I never met them until tonight?"

Gojo : well?.... I would say to watch the kid until we can understand why your so important? buuuut! given the situation. this is a big decision. So it's up to you to decided"

Megumi was so confused and conflicted he couldn't do this right now be a guardian father figure to a kid. But he had a promise and there had to be an important reason why it had to be him. The guy clearly knew something he didn't. So he said

Megumi :.....for now I'll do what I told the guy..."

Gojo : and I will help you!"

Megumi : no"

Gojo : I did a good job?"

Megumi : no"

Gojo : well I am going go check out the body be back later"

And with that he left and Megumi took a deep breath before going back inside.

Later at the Coroner's  Gojo went to check out the body by himself and as he walked into the room he saw the body on the table. And felt himself wanting to throw up and felt a pit in his stomach.

And as he walked closer it became clear who it was And looked sad

Gojo : heh...when I joke about you never making it to 30 ....that was a joke.... doing this was stupid for any reason but I know coming from you must of been an important reason....this was reckless...kinda proud... anyhow I'll make sure they both safe and everything goes as planned.

Never could of imagined you as a father but I am sure you were great. because of me obviously. And I am sure he can handle
