Recently I've been enjoying the privilege of being rich. Many maids attending to my need attentively, From my meals to my attire, from helping my schedule and accompanying me all the time. Now I know what it feels like to become a young heiress from a wealthy conglomerate and this kind of life was something I can get used to, even if I didn't do anything I could fill my stomach and get some cash. Only if my dear life in this fantasy world related novel won't be disturbed, I would have lived as the laziest Lady in this Glacia Empire.

Maybe, if the goddess would like to grace my soul to give me enough life force to stay alive until the old age eats me away... I would be drowned in happiness. Apart from my ethereal beauty and charming eyes yet menacing at the same time giving of the villain vibes like Beatrice character but doomed to die in the very beginning.

Edith went to the dining room after Selena made her look presentable with the white colored off-shoulder long dress, patterned with black and white flower at the dress edge. A shawl covering her open shoulder with black ribbon decorating her slim neck.

At first, Selena didn't approve it but when she sees Edith with the ribbon tied to her neck, she decides to give in. It gives off unusual vibes, but her master beauty trample over it peculiarity as she walks behind her quietly watching the Lady figure.

Edith walked through the vintage style corridor and stood in front of the antique door. She always feels out of space whenever she passed through this place, even her appearance nowadays look like a princess. She was sure this face of her looks like a model with perfect body. Edith's appearance will make many man hit her in the modern times. Thinking about it made her smiled, at least what she had now felt precious somehow.

Her kind older brother and a Loving parents. The only thing she regretted was Edith behavior and her doomed fate.

Adam's sat silently on the table when Edith come inside. His eyes spotting her beaming smile towards him.

"You're late, Ed." Said Adam's looking at his little sister took a seat beside him. "You've changed." he continued almost whispering, Adam know well his lil-sister hatred. She will choose the opposite chair whenever they ate on the same table, but today she takes a seat beside him.

"H-ha ha, of course Brother Adam. Everyone changes." She momentarily stiffens, and realized the reason behind his words. Edith scratches the back of her head, evasively swift the topic. "By the way where is mother and father?" She asks.

The maid preparing their food neatly on the table, from the appetizer, main course and the closing food while their master busily engaging in conversation.

"Father went to the palace, attending the court early in the morning. You're probably still sleeping so... our father didn't wake you up and for our Mother, she was at a tea party hosted by the Duchess Harrison." He said while picking a knife and an Apple, he's peeling the Apple skin and slicing it into an eatable sizes.

"Here..." He said while placing the Apple pieces on the plate.

"Thank you." Edith said looking at her older brother act lovingly towards her. "Anyway, Why did the Emperor rashly announcing a meeting after yesterday coming of age banquet? It's strange."

"Probably about the upcoming Durham kingdom delegations regarding the trading route to the Holy region and an agreement to trade resources investment between our empire and their kingdom in next week." he stated

"Delegation ? Does the crown prince from Durham kingdom comes too ?" She asks, Edith was curious because the neighboring crown prince is one of the love interest in the story. But she didn't remember about this event, mainly because it was written in the female lead point of view and certainly lack of politics in the first arc.

"I am not sure, maybe his highness from the Durham Kingdom would surely come. I heard he was in training succession like our empire crown prince." Adam stated while savoring the dish.

'Maybe their upcoming entourage had been written in the novel ? Ah...' Edith was thinking inside her mind. Her attention piqued on the Durham Kingdom where the 2nd Male lead resides. The novel didn't say much about the Durham kingdom but simply stated it was a beautiful place with advanced tech based on aether stone.

"Why you ask, Ed ? are you attracted to him ?" His teases abruptly waking her from the busy mind.

"No !! I am just curious about the Durham Kingdom" She stated sternly looking at her older brother side.

Adam's inwardly amused by her reaction, her past glare always full of malice towards him and for a few days ago she seems milder and her glare today is purely because of annoyance at his words.

Edith wriggling her brows, looking at her older brother confidence soaring through the sky. Edith didn't know much about Geneivre household do to maintain the noble living standard, so her brother statement piqued her interest to know what did he know.
