13. Their Agreement

Haji woke up at seven in the morning. He was held in the head due to pain. He looked around and saw scattered beer cans and what he had been drinking last night. He grabbed his nape and looked at his couch. He look around and saw the remote on the floor and get it to turn off the television.

'I slept here! It's pain in ass!" he said to himself and stood up. He immediately went to the kitchen to get a drink. After that he came back to the living room and clean his mess. He also brew coffee and eat a slice of bread he toast before entering in his room.

After that he went to the bedroom and took a shower. He had to go to school because Bulk was definitely there and waiting for him. Even if he is lazy, he has to go in so that his Grandfather can see that he is coming in and taking a class even though he is often late.

After taking a bath and grooming himself, he immediately left the apartment and drove the motor to school. Because the school was close to their apartment, he quickly reached it and immediately parked the motor in his own parking lot. Even though it was a bit late, there were still a lot of people in the parking lot and it seems like they are also late.

As he adjusted the motor, the people around him could not escape his loud hearing.

"His motor is cool, man! Dad said, you can't buy a motor just like that!" the young man with an eyeglasses said.

"Probably! Because, that guy is Chairman's grandson. He's really big-time and rich kid!" another man replied.

"What? He's Chairman Zhu's grandson?!" the man unbelievable response.

"Yes, dude! It is spread all over the freshmen campus and they heard Lhou and Haji arguing yesterday in the hallway. And also his last name is Zhu!."

"Seriously?? They are really wealth." another man respond.

Even though Haji does not want to listen to the trivial things that they are talking about, he can do nothing. He had a headache and did not want to talk more. So after fixing the motor, he immediately walked to the classroom because he knew it was class time and Bulk was definitely there.

As he walking towards to his class, many girls approach him but he just ignored them. But they doesn't stop to shouting his name that make him irritated.

"Hi Haji, are you free tonight? Today is my birthday and it is swimming pool party. I want you to come together with Bulk." the beautiful girl said and leaned closer to him. The young man push a girl over that make other girls laugh.

"That serves you right, bitch!" another girl said and laugh.

"You're right. Haji is not the type of man who socialize with bitch like you. Just go home girl and swim in pool until your party is over!"

Haji doesn't look back and continue to walk on the hallway. When he reached the classroom he immediately entered. He found the teacher speaking in front of them and they looked at him as well as the classmates.

"You're late, Mr. Zhu." The teacher's said to him.

"I know. You don't have to mention it." he answered rudely and his classmates laughed. He looked away from the teacher and turned it to Bulk's habit of laughing as he looked in front of his chair where Lia was sitting but now no one was sitting on it. He looked at Lia's friend Xing's chair and saw her looking at him angrily.

'What's your problem?' he asked himself and walked over to his chair.

"Why are you late?" Bulk asked.

"Because I want to." he said.

"Whatever!" Bulk just answered and looked back at the teacher who discussed while Haji kept looking ahead but even a word that the teacher said doesn't retain in his memory.

As expected and accustomed to this past, the class just ended but he did not understand anything in the teacher's discussion.

"Let's go." he persuaded Bulk to go to the cafeteria together and eat a snack.

"Okay." Bulk replied and followed him.

They immediately sat down near the door and ordered food. In this school, it is okay if they order or call a waiter to assist their order.

They saw Xing pass by them alone and carrying food. Bulk immediately called it and smiled.

"Hi Xing!" Bulk smiled at Xing but the girl just stared at him.

"What do you need?" Xing's rude response. Bulk listens to them but looks at the others.

"W-why do you seem to be alone? Where is Lia?" Bulk asked.

"She's not going in here anymore." Xing replied So Haji looked at them.

"What?! Why, is she already transferred??"

"No. Didn't she get fired for being the president's student assistant and make her your friends' tutor?" Xing replied to Bulk and looked at Haji's behavior.

"So?"

"Being an assistant is the reason why she can study but the Chairman fired her and made his grandson tutor. Unluckily, he does miss my friend's tutorial session." Xing said again.

"And? I don't understand." Bulk asked awkwardly.

"Chairman and Lia have an agreement that if Lia is able to tutor Haji, he will have a scholarship and she will be able to continue her education and she will still have a monthly allowance given by the Chairman. But If not, he will not be able to enter here because he no longer has a scholarship." Xing replied and looked intently at Haji but It did not look at her. Xing turned her gaze back to Bulk who could not believe what the girl said.

"Thanks to your friend, my friend stopped studying." she replied angrily and left.

Bulk was speechless and looked at Haji quietly. Haji's face showed shock and annoyance at what Xing had said to them. He didn't know that his Grandfather had an agreement. That's the reason why Lia keep approach him and waited for him even at midnight.

Haji clenched his fist and immediately left the cafeteria. He knew Bulk had followed him. When he reached his destination, he slammed the door open and bragged to the office even though there were teachers here.

"Why do you have to do that?!" he shouted as the teachers looked at him shocked.

"Mr. Zhu! Respect the Chairman's office! Don't make a fuss here! Go to the principal office now!" The teacher said to him but the young man just stared at him.

"Do you want to lose your job?" he emotionless response.

"What -----", the teacher would about to shout when the Chairman tapped him on the shoulder and prompted him to come out first.

"Come out first, I'll just talk to my grandson." the Chairman's calm response that surprised the teacher.

"Y-your grandson??" its a shocking question. The Chairman did not answer him but he smiled at him.

"Forgive me! Don't fire me Chairman! Please Sir Haji!" his crying response and kneel in front of Haji.

"Stand up and leave in front of me." he ordered the teacher immediately obey and bowed in front of the Chairman as well as him to be respectful before running out of the office.

The Chairman laughed because of that while Haji looked at the old man furiously.

"I thought you didn't want them to know that you are my grandson and we have a connection?" he asked and laugh.

Even Haji also asked himself why he said that but because he was mad, he did not think about it well. He also knew that someone knew who he was because of the rumors in the parking lot earlier.

"Sit down first." the old man replied to him.

"What? That's all you have to say ?!" he asked incredulously.

"What's the matter, grandson?" the old man calmly replied to Haji.

"Don't be silly because I know that you already know why I'm here! Who is a sensible person to make a kind of agreement like that

!?" he said angrily. The chairman looked at him and laughed.

"Is that Ms. Lia? Maybe she's not coming in school now? She knows how to follow the agreement."

"What did you say? Grandpa!" he shouted.

"She should just obey because he just studied for free in the past. So I have to make that agreement. You must have make her to tutor you for her to stay here.

"I have nothing to do with her, so you don't have to do that anymore! I don't need a tutor!" he still shouted angrily.

"If you have nothing to do with him, why do you react like that?" his Grandfather asked and make him fell silent.

"Because I don't want anyone to stop studying just because of me!" he defended but the old man just laughed at his answer.

"You are not like that, Haji. You do not tend to be concerned about other people. You have no other thoughts If not yourself. You are going back to where you were. I am happy for that." smiling Chairman replied.

"Don't think of anything because it does not matter to you. If you think I am changing because of that, You are mistaken. I am not concerned. I just don't want you to include my name in them because I want a quiet life. You are the reason I became like this. So do not expect anything to change. " he responded without emotion and immediately left the room.
