Big Job of The Month

Jessica is glad that Mr. Simon did not cover up Hans's actions.

"The man was the best candidate we have found, but for some reason, Hans said this man is not right to be your secretary."

"How dare Hans prevents a competent man for me? How about he looks, is he handsome enough?" asked the woman.

"Yes? Yes, he's s quite handsome," Mr. Simon was surprised by the last question before. He had heard that the young woman in front of him was only dealing with visually attractive men. He did not know if she measured someone like that. "But Hans said that ..." Mr. Simon tried to mention the reason Hans had previously asked him.

Jessica didn't give Mr.Simon a chance to explain, the woman cut him off straight away. "Invite the man to sign the contract tomorrow." Jessica didn't care what Hans said to the head of HR, she didn't want to hear anything.

Not wanting to cause trouble, Mr. Simon decided not to argue with Jessica, "I'll call her soon."

Hans stopped worrying about the new secretary's problem. Last time he had made a recommendation for one of the other applicants, a young man who happened to be the son of one of the company directors.

Hans recognized the director as a friend of his father's and his son seemed more trustworthy than the other applicants.

Thinking of the selection process Hans was intrigued. The reason is that Hans himself did not even waste his time following a series of selection processes like that. Hans is grateful that his father is Mr. William.

"You look brighter than yesterday," Jessica commented to Hans who was currently driving her home.

"Is that so?" Hans glanced at Jessica with the tail of his eye, he had to stay focused on the steering wheel and the road ahead.

"You seem to have done a great job today." Jessica complimented him with the intention, "Your job is done perfectly and I hope my new secretary will be as good as you."

"Your new secretary might have good abilities, but remember there still no one will be as good as me." Without feeling too much Hans boasted himself.

Jessica grinned, "I wouldn't take it if he couldn't be better than you." The woman nodded with her hand leaning against the car window, she stared at Hans closely.

So far Hans still doesn't realize that Jessica has been secretly watching him and knows what is being done behind his back. Hans isn't that perfect. The man thought too highly of himself.

Finding the right new secretary for Jessica was Hans's biggest job this month.

Next month he must make sure that the man who will replace him is ready for all kinds of things in the company and can work well under Jessica. Only then could Hans leave.

If there was a way Hans might stay by Jessica's side and fight for his feelings for her. But he had already fallen on this choice, the choice where he went with the excuse of marrying another woman.

Hans himself was still not sure about his plans. Another woman, hm? How could Hans possibly think of another woman when the only content in his head was Jessica. Was his marriage to another woman just nonsense?

The thought of this made a significant change in Hans and Jessica's face immediately noticed. "Why is your face so gloomy like that?"

"I was just wondering, are you going to ask your new secretary to pick you up every morning and drive you home like this?"

"He has to do it whether he wants it or not. That's one of the points I put in the work contract."

"You put it in the contract?" Hans turned to the woman next to him. The lights on the street suddenly turned red and Hans also stopped suddenly.

"Hey, watch the way you drive!" Jessica complained.
