I Am Not Getting Married

After the incident with the crazy lady she goes to her grandfather's office and tells him about it.

Sylvia: It was so crazy Papa. Why was she acting like that?

Papa/chairman: Sylvia I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. Today if your first day here and you are already dealing with all this craziness.

Sylvia: It was weird. At one point she yelled at me "that man is mine". Like I stole her boyfriend or something.

Papa/chairman: Oh! So she must be his ex-girlfriend.

Sylvia: Ex-girlfriend? Whose ex-girlfriend?

Papa/chairman: Uh. Nobody's my dear.

Sylvia: Who was that girl?

Papa/chairman: Her name is Stella. I believe that she is the ex-girlfriend of the CEO of another company that we are planning to partner with.

Sylvia: Ok, but why di she come at me? I have nothing to do with their relationship.

Papa/chairman: Well...

As the chairman hesitates to tell Sylvia something Caleb walks into the office.

Caleb: Excuse me chairman. Mr. Levi is here.

Papa/chairman: Oh yes. Bring him in.

Caleb: Yes sir.

Caleb walks out of the office. He then walks back in with a man following behind him.

Papa/chairman: Hello Levi. How are you doing on this fine day?

Levi: I am doing very well today. Thank you for asking. How are you Mr. Chairman?

Papa/chairman: I am wonderful. Sylvia this is Levi. He is the heir to the company, Ivory Films. And Levi this is my granddaughter and the brand new CEO of TopTeir Entertainment.

Sylvia: Hello. It's nice to meet you.

Levi: Same here. I'm excited to get to know you better as our relationship progresses.

Sylvia: Uhhh yea. I'm also excited for our partnership.

Levi: Well that's one way to put it.

Sylvia: What do you mean?

Levi: I mean "partnership" is a good way to put it.

Sylvia: A good way to put what?

Levi: Our marr---

Papa/chairman: Levi! Um can you and Caleb sit outside for a little bit so I can talk to Sylvia.

Levi: Yes, ofcourse.

Sylvia: Wait! What are you talking about?

As Levi and Caleb start walking out of the office he stops and answers Sylvia's question.

Levi: Well our marriage ofcourse.

Levi and Caleb then walks out of the office. Sylvia then turns to her grandfather with a very confused face.

Sylvia: Wait. Did he say "our marriage"?

Papa/chairman: Um. Yes. He is talking about your marriage to him.

Sylvia: Marriage! Are you talking a out me getting married to him?!

Papa/chairman: Yes, but it is for the good of the company.

Sylvia: What? Are you serious right now? Please tell me that you are kidding.

Papa/Chairman: No Sylvia I am not joking. I was going to tell you about this after you got comfortable with your new position, but Levi wanted to come in and meet you on your first day.

Sylvia: No. I am not gonna do it.

Papa/Chairman: Wait. Sylvia, I need you to think about this.

Sylvia: No! you need to think about this. Why would you set up an arranged marriage for me?

Papa/Chairman: I set this up because it's what is best for you.

At this point Sylvia is extremely angry and she is loudly yelling at her grandfather.

Sylvia: No, Papa. It's what's best for you and the company!

Papa/chairman: Please Sylvia. Let me explain.

Sylvia: I'm going to say this and I need you to listen.

Papa/chairman: Yes. Whatever it is I will listen.
