Surprised and Pissed

     The first person back was Marcus. He pulled my van in next to his house and then ran down to his mother's house.

     He ran through the door and looks at his mother. " Where is she? John said he gave her to you but she didn't look well. What's wrong? Where is she? Is she okay?" Kara smiled at Marcus. " You really have bonded with her haven't you! Calm down she's resting. I called the doctor she will be here soon. You should know I also called Nathen."" But why she's not one of us, he will make her leave. Fine I will take her somewhere that I can keep her safe."" Boy listen to yourself, you need to calm down. I don't think he will kick her out right now. She needs our doctors."" Why, what's wrong? Did I hurt her? Make her sick, What?"" Your going to have to wait till the doctor checks her out but I have an idea as to what's wrong."" What's wrong?"" Silly boy you bonded but didn't use protection." " What, you don't think she's pregnant?"" Yes I do."" But she's not one of us it shouldn't have happened so quickly."" She's still a women it can happen no matter what. It also explains her symptoms and why they are so bad. Since she's human they are worse than if she were one of us."

     It was several hours later when I woke up. I felt a lot better than I had all month. I heard voices around me for a second I wondered where I was then I remembered. I wondered if Marcus was one of the voices when I called his name the lid was opened. He came over and sat next to me.

     " How are you feeling?""Actually much better, what is this thing I need to get me one." He laughs as he says," It's called a water pod and I think we can arrange that.  You do look a lot better than the last time I saw you. I think mom is right. We need to get the doctor to take a look at you."

     A women comes around the pod and says, " Young lady all you have to do is relax. Since he says you look better we are going to leave you right here. Now I am going to scan you so I can know how to make you better."

     As she said this she passed something like a tablet over me. When she got to my feet it beeped. She touched it, at first she smiled then she frowned.

     Marcus asked, " What's wrong?" " It's not what's wrong its what's interesting. Our people only ever have a single child but you young lady are having twins. It explains so much. But it also makes things both interesting and dangerous. Also you need vitamins. I need to get you some, they will help things a lot."

     With that she went over and talked to the others for a minute. I looked at Marcus and asked, " Umm are you okay with this? I'm not trying to trap you or anything. But I am a bit lost and confused right the moment."" Oh sweetheart I am the happiest person on earth right now. Of course I want the babies. But I am scared to death right now. I won't lie about that. I don't want to loose you I just found you."  With that he leaned over and kissed me. When he pulled away all I could do was smile because I knew if I tried to say anything I knew I would cry. Because I was scared to death as well. Kara came around the pod smiling but you could see the worry as well. " So I'm going to be a grandma. I am so happy for you both. We need to get Ben here so he can do the binding ceremony for you. You also need to request a water pod. I believe you should get a double."" Those are all good ideas if Nathen will let her stay."

     Now I had was wondering who Nathen was. When he walked around the pod I was shocked, amazed, happy, and pissed all at once. Just every emotion all at once. And you could tell he was shocked to see me as well. Both Kara and Marcus asked what was wrong. I snapped out of it and lost it for a few minutes. The past year came rushing back and I let him have it.

     " WHAT the helll is going on? How are you here? How are you alive? Why didn't you tell ME? Why did you put me through this? How could You? Just why?" And with that I sent him flying away from me. I was so shocked I was speechless. And so was everyone else. Nathen picked himself up off the ground and came over and knelt at my feet.

     " Megan honey I am so sorry for everything."" You know mom lost it after you died."" I'm sorry."" No your not or you wouldn't have done it."" You don't understand I had no choice."" Then make me understand."" Honey its going to be a lot to take in."" Yea well I have time so get to explaining." Kara breaks in and says, "Maybe you should start at the beginning. You owe your daughter that much. She has a right to know where she comes from. And it might help with the pregnancy as well." Marcus looks at me and all I can do is nod my head because I know if I try to talk I will start yelling again or start crying or both. Then Kara looks at Marcus and says, " You don't have to worry about her having to leave. You just have to worry about how being half human with affect her and the babies." And with that I did start to cry.

     It took ten minutes for Kara and Marcus to calm me down. The whole time my father stood there watching. I guess he was lost in thought. Maybe trying to figure out how to tell me the truth. When I was under control I asked Kara for more of the juice she gave me earlier. She went and got it for me then the three of us just stared at Nathen.

     After a minute he started. He told me how his people came from a planet two light years past Pluto. How their world dried out because their sun went super nova. How they made it to earth two generations ago. How all of the people who survived the trip are now living all along the coast lines all over the world. There are several of our people in Hawaii, as well as several little island. Anywhere there is water you will find our people. We need the water to survive otherwise we dry out. He told me his family has always rule the people. And since he was the only child when his father died a year ago he had to come back and lead his people. He said since my mom was human she was not allowed here. He said he was sorry he hurt me. He said I could stay here. And he asked if I had any questions.

     I took a minute to process everything. Then everything started to make sense. My addiction to water. The little things I was able to do. And the reason why I was sold. I looked at him and said, " Did you tell mom all this?"" Not all of it but yes."" Well that explains so much. Tell me have I always been telekinetic and telepathic? Or is this something new?"" No you have always been like this we just never responded when we saw it."" Was mother? Is that why you chose her"" No I loved your mother That's why I chose her. But no she's no psychic. Why?"" Because eight months ago she sold me to the father of the guy I was dating at the time. She got half a million dollars for me. And their main goal was to get me pregnant so they could have these abilities I didn't even know I had. But mother knew about them because she highlighted them when she was making the deal. You should have told me before now. The only reason I got away was because I over heard the sale as it happened and my best friend helped me get away and go into hiding."" First of all I'm sorry about what you have had to go through. I will take care of everything. Secondly I would love to meet the women who helped save you. And third you are safe here nothing will happen to you I promise."

     With that he walked away. I was still confused and upset but at least I knew the truth. Not only was my boyfriend an alien but so was my father. So I am half alien, WOW what a day. But at least I have my father back. And now I am with Marcus. I really needed to talk to Sarah she is never going to believe this.

     We sat there in silence for a minute then Kara asked, "  Honey I know you must have more questions, is there anything I can help you with?"" Thank you but right now I think I just need to process everything and rearrange my life. You know what I mean! But I would love something to eat."" Now I know I can do that. Do you want anything special?"" I don't know I haven't had a home cooked meal in eight months."" Then I will make you one. You just rest, we have to build up your strength. Marcus get her some more juice."" Yes mom, I'll be right back okay."

     I smiled and nodded. I finally started to relax. I was beginning to feel safe and loved again.  Two hours later I received the final surprise of the day.

     After a wonderful steak dinner made by Kara we were sitting at the table when my phone started going off. Sarah had called to tell me the latest news. She couldn't take it anymore when the guy watching her house fell asleep she went out and slashed all four of his tires then she went back in got her keys and took off. She went to visit her mom because last week she fell and twisted her ankle but she was okay. She told me she hasn't seen Marcus in a while and asked if I had. I told her yes and that I had some interesting news to tell her. When she started to answer there was a bit of an echo. When I turned around Marcus and Kara turned as well. And there she was walking up the lane. Marcus went over and got her, then he brought her to the table. We hugged each other then sat down. She looked back and forth between us then smiled.

     " Okay so how long have you been here. I really should have known you were one of us, with all the time you spent on my beach. Marcus just smiled. I said, " I actually just found my way here this morning. Oh my father wants to meet you."" Wait I thought your father was dead!"" Its a really long story but I think you might know who he is.""Who?"" He's your leader." She looks at the other two then back at me and says, "Your father is Nathen?"

     And as if saying his name called him there Nathen walks over the little bridge. He comes over and hugs me then says, " Its good to see you up, how are you feeling?"" Much better. Between the water, the juice Kara has been giving me and a home cooked meal I feel much better."" Good just take it easy and stay healthy for my grandbabies." Sarah started coughing. "And who is this?" Dad this is Sarah, she has been helping me from the beginning. And today she had to slash all four tires of the guys who has been watching her just so she could come visit her mom who twisted her ankle."" Your Emma's daughter? Thank you for helping Megan all this time."" Your welcome Sir I was just glad to help. But now I understand why she liked the water so much. Before all this started she was my best life guard. And I'm sorry to say your wife has completely lost her mind."" Yes I understand that. I found the MySpace page, the Facebook page, as well as the lost child pages she has set up."" WOW I really think she wants me found."" Don't worry I have a friend taking care of things. Everything will be gone by morning. And if they try it again the virus he is setting up will take them all down."" Nice job Nathen, you might want to talk to our people on the force and see about getting rid of their followers."" Good idea Kara I will make the calls when I get back."" Dad did you leave mom any money?" Yes I left both of you money, why do you ask? You have five million dollars in a trust fund that you can have in a few more days. On you eighteenth birthday."" Oh my god really? Did she know about it? What did you leave her? She got two million. Why do you ask?"" Because she sold the house. She made me get a job. We moved into a crappy house. She just made out like we are broke. And then of course she sold me."" Yes I can agree the new place is a dump. She don't clean unless she is entertaining. Janet kept saying they were broke. She made it sound so bad."" Okay I will look into that as well." As he turned to leave Kara said, "Nathen wait why did you come down?"" Oh yea sorry I came down to see how you were. And to let you know your water pod would be here tomorrow. And Ben will do the binding ceremony tomorrow as well."" That's all great news. We will see you tomorrow then."" Yes well have a good night guys. Nice to meet you Sarah. And thank you again for everything you have done for my girl." Then he left. Kara asked Sarah. " Will you be staying for the ceremony? I could use help getting ready."" I would love to. I'll go tell mom and see what we can do. He never said when though." With that everyone from the colony with a phone got a text message. At 2:00 p.m tomorrow the binding ceremony of Marcus and Megan will happen. Come celebrate the joyous union. "Well that helps. Now we know the time, date, and place I'll see you all tomorrow. And I'm glad your here, your safe, and you found Marcus. Good night."" Thank you so much for all your help. Good night.

     Shortly after that Marcus took me to his house. He thought I was beginning to look peaky again. We talked for a while then we went to bed.
