Xiao bai's manor

"Young master. Master Ruo has arrived." Yifan called out to Xiao Bai who was currently at the backyard playing his guqin.

He gave his guqin to Yifan and stood up, dusting his robes.

"Mingxue, let's go." Xiao Bai said while looking up at the tree branch where mingxue was lazing. Mingxue immediately jumped down and walked with him side by side. Yifan bowed towards them as they walk away.

"Young master Bai!" Ruo lan waved to them. Xiao Bai waved back to him and went to the carriage where Ruo Lan was. Ruo Lan gestured him to enter so he did while mingxue sat at outside in the front with Ruo Lan.

And they didn't have a choice because they'll be meeting and emperor it would be weird if a mere servant sits with his master.

The ride was quite fast, it only took them about 5 minutes to arrive at Xuwei's place.

"Young master, please come in." The steward who takes care of xuwei's manor greeted them at the gates then lead them to their meeting place.

They took a few turns and arrived at the back courtyard, where a small pavilion was standing, surrounded by peach blossoms everywhere.

Xiao Bai indeed saw XuWei and another man whose back was facing him.

XuWei noticed their arrival so he gestured for them to join in. The steward stopped to tracks, bowed down while extending him arms as if saying that they should proceed. Xiao Bai thanked him and the steward went back inside.

Ruo lan was the next to take the lead.

"Ruo Lan greets his majesty. May the heavens give you and our nation uneding prosperity." Ruo Lan cupped his hands and bowed to the emperor, the emperor nodded to him indicating that he could now lift his head, then walked to Xuwei's side.

Xiao bai took a deep breath and packed towards his majesty, "Greetings your majesty. This little one is called Wang Bai. May his majesty live in prosperity so as the his nation will prosper with him."

Mingxue also bowed with him, it's not necessary for him to introduce himself since he was just a servant.

"Lift up your heads" The emperor said.

'This voice sounds a so familiar.' Xiao bai thought as soon as he heard the voice.

"ITS YOU!" Xiao Bai lifted his head and when he finally saw the emperor he couldn't help but shout in surprise. How come their sub teacher turned out to be an emperor.

So that means this is Xuwei's father? They really don't look a like at all. Oh wait, their eyes look the same. Anyway! This is the man that Xiao Bai wants to talk to inquire what was happening to him.

"Yes, it's me." Xin ShiHui said while laughing. His laugh brought Xiao Bai back to reality and he immediately reddened in embarrassment.

XuWei was also silently laughing in the sidelines which Xiao Bai caught and gave him a glare. XuWei just cleared his throat and Xiao Bai took his seat.

"Teacher...I mean, Your Majesty, I apologize for my rudeness." Xiao Bai solemnly said.

Shihui, "It's okay, we are not in an official meeting and we're outside the palace, just take me as your teacher and Xuwei's father."

Xiao bai made some small talks first to ease the atmosphere, "Oww, well then. Teacher Xin, why did you suddenly decided to teach here?"

Shihui took a sip on his cup and replied, "I'm finding XuWei a capable wife in the academy."

"Father, I told you I don't want to get married yet. I'm still young." XuWei immediately redeemed himself. Xiao Bai on the hand felt his heart froze at the statement and he turned silent for a few seconds.

Shihui, "But you're on the perfect age to at least have a concubine."

Xiao bai faked a laugh, "My uncle and mom also tells me that I'm in the right age."

Shihui, "See? Even Wang Bai's uncle and mom agrees with me."

Xiao bai, "Teacher just call me Xiao Bai."

Shihui, "So Xiao Bai, have you gotten interested in someone lately?"

Xiao bai awkwardly replied, "Not at all. I'm focused on my studies right now."

Shihui, "Xuwei also says that every time. But did you know? He always sneak out at night. I think he visits their major everytime."

XuWei was suddenly thrown in cold sweats, "Father! What nonsense are you talking about?"

Shihui innocently looked at his son, "It's not nonsense. Ruo Lan can testify for me."

Ruo lan, "It's true!"

XuWei threw death glares at him. Ruo Lan immediately shrunk back cursing this father and son duo in his heart.

The conversation went on by ShiHui exposing his son's most embarrassing moments since childhood and Xiao Bai just laughing his ass off totally forgetting the reason why they were in there in the first place.

The sun gradually came down.

"Xiao Bai, how about you and Mingxue stay for dinner?" Shihui invited them.

Xiao bai, "No thank you uncle ShiHui. We will eat with yifan and uncle nan tonight." He also didn't know how, but Xiao Bai ended up calling the emperor of Xin country, uncle ShiHui.

Shihui, "Then you should come again next time."

Xiao Bai, "Of course."

XuWei, "Then how about in the weekend?"

Xiao Bai, "Sure."

XuWei, "You look like you're thinking about something, what is it?"

Shihui, "yeah, you seem to have something to say. Come one just tell it to uncle Shihui."

Xiao bai lowered his head, "Uhm.. Can I talk to uncle alone? I just have something to discuss in private."

Shihui, "of course."

Xuwei, Ruo lan, and Mingxue immediately bowed and walked inside first, leaving the two behind.

"Do you know what is that about?" XuWei whispered to mingxue while they were walking back.

"I don't have any idea as well." Minhxue honestly said and looked back once again.

At Xiao bai's side...

Xiao Bai, "Uncle Shihui, do you know me?"

"Of course, you are Wang Bai. Xuwei's friend and my student." Shihui said while smiling.

Xiao bai kinda expected this response but he toughen his beating heart, "I mean, the other me."

Shihui's smile turned into a serious one, "What do you mean?"

Xiao bai, "I mean the one who met the man outside the convenience store."

Shihui, "Why do you ask me this? "

Xiao bai, "Because I know you are him. Although you look younger and more presentable than the one I met, you still look like him."

Shihui, "Ahh. I might have seen me in the streets. You know? I often got scolded by my empress because I always sneak out and stroll around outside the palace?"

Xiao bai, 'Am I mistaken? '

Xiao bai just laughed nervous and answered while scratching his pimples, "Maybe."

Shihui patted his shoulders, "Don't worry. Xuwei has discussed your worries to me. And I'll support the both you. "

Xiao bai about to thank him when he leaned towards Xiao bai's ears and whispered the words that made him go stiff.

" If someone took something away from you then you should just steal it from them if not then force them to give it back to you."

Shihui meaningfully smiled at him and was about to go back when Xiao Bai stopped him, "You know!"

Shihui, "You seem a lot better. Just go with it and enjoy."

After that he put his index finger in his mouth and wink fowards the confuse and surprised xiao bai. And with that he left Xiao Bai hanging and alone in the pavilion.

'Does that mean that he actually knew me from my previous life?

That words.. It's the words that that old man told me before I got hit by a truck. Is he a time traveler?

He said that I should go with it. He even gestured that I should keep quite.

So he is really that old man! '

Xiao bai looked up the dimming sky, "Now I have more questions to ask. But if those questions are answered, I'm not even sure if I want to go back."

"Please go back."

A soft voice entered Xiao bai's ears, it was that familiar voice in his dreams again. He looked back and saw no one was there, and he entered dillema once again.

Author's note: I don't know what to say anymore. So how was it? Turns out that ShiHui was 4 in 1, an emperor, a teacher, xuwei's father and the mysterious man?

Why is shihui the old man in the 1st chapter? Then it's a secret hahaha. You'll know it when the book is completed. Lol.

Xiao bai: why?

Shihui: don't worry about him. He just doesn't like it when other people knows about his embarrassing past. (Especially you)

Xiao bai: it's not that embarrassing. It's quite cute for a child.

Crying because he can't properly wear his robes was normal.

Wetting the bed is also normal. Getting lost in the wide palace is also normal.

Crying because your snacks got spilled is also normal.

Tripping head first while walking is also normal.

XuWei: You don't need to ellaborate it!

Xiao bai: why not?

XuWei: ....
