First single.

Dylan drove Mark to his apartment that night before driving home, Ben had no one to drive home, so he just drove straight to his edifice. But before those events took place, they chatted for a long time. They talked about how awful Darcy's character was, they didn't understand the reason why she wanted to humiliate Mark in front of everyone at the headquarter....yeah, they talked about that a lot. They also discussed the unique song Mark recorded at the studio, best put, the song they all worked together to record at the studio.

Still thinking about the unique song being referred to? well, let's get our memories refreshed.....the song which Mark sang and rapped at the same time. Yeah, that vibeful song, that unique song, that song filled with so much energy.....they talked about if the song was gonna make Mark famous and make him a mainstream artiste. By the time they were done discussing, the time was about 10:50 pm.

Though time wasn't on their side anymore, and few cabs were still moving on the road, Dylan made the sacrifice of driving Mark to his apartment before driving to his dwelling....that's some good deed men. Just to say, the three of them slept soundly that night.

Gary was really elated when he heard that Darcy won the rap contest she participated in, that was just more proof of how gifted she was as a rapper. He was happy for two reasons, firstly, he didn't make the wrong choice by signing her to his record label. Secondly, he was gonna receive his share out of the money she won from the rap contest. That day, at the time of 10:35 am, the day after the rap contest, Darcy, Darcy's producer, Gary, and some other people were present at the headquarter studio for the recording of Darcy's first single under the 'Cool Boiz' record label.

Darcy was about to record her first official song under the label. The song she was about to record was a song she had written before she got signed to the 'Cool Boiz' label, and surely, it was rap music. Her favorite music producer was present at the studio.....and surprisingly, she happens to be a female. Female music producers are rare to find in the music industry, males take the higher count when it comes to music production. She had been producing songs for Darcy since when Darcy was still signed to her former record label, and the both of them have grown fond of each other.

Other people were also present at the studio, one of them happens to be Darcy's newfound manager. Gary bestowed a male manager to her after signing her to his record label, and he happens to have Darcy's best interest at heart. The rest of the other people that were present at the studio were workers of the 'Cool Boiz' record label. People that work hard to give the label a good standing, people that work hard for the continuous growth of the label. Like the promotion manager, the promotion staffer, director of publicity, and so on.

Everyone in the room was in anticipation of how smoothly the recording would go. Those that haven't heard her rap before were wondering how good her rapping skills were, well, they were gonna find out now. Darcy put on one of the studio's headphones and sauntered to one of the microphones for the commencement of the recording. Her music producer was already sitting close to the studio's computer and other music-producing equipment, so she just put on one of the studio's headphones and displayed the rap beat which she created for the recording of the song.

The moment the beat resounded into Darcy's ears through the headphone she wore, she began nodding her head to it.....she was feeling the beat and grooving to it at the same time. Everyone in the room was also feeling the pleasant sound of the beat, like, it was such a cool rap beat. The female producer must be really talented to produce such a nice beat.

After grooving to the beat to her satisfaction, Darcy began oozing out nice rap lyrics from her mouth. She had mastered the whole lyrics to the song, so she didn't need to carry along with her a phone or book where the lyrics were written. She had written the song for a long time now, so surely, she must have mastered the whole lyrics to the song.

The beat and Darcy's rapping pace corresponded well, like, it was a complete fit. The song was a vibe already though the recording was still ongoing. It was clear to everyone present in the room that Darcy was a talented rapper. The producer wasn't left out.....she's also gifted, the vibeful rap beat she created was enough evidence. The rest of the recording went smoothly, the room was filled with so much vibe due to Darcy's rapping.

Concluding with the recording, Darcy took of the headphone from her head and sauntered to where everyone was sitting and took a sit also. Gary tapped her on her right shoulder and said,

"That was a really nice recording, like it was filled with so much vibe and energy", He turned his attention to Darcy's producer and inquired, "Can you please play the song for us to listen to?".

"Sure, why not". Darcy's producer retorted and played the song.

The song was so cool to the ears, a lover of rap music would fall in love with the song the moment he/she listens to it, that's for sure. It was an all-out rap kind of music, but not a rapid one. Darcy didn't rap swiftly while recording the song, that's the way she wrote and planned the song. And even if she was to rap instantaneously, it wouldn't have gone along with the beat....it wouldn't fit with it. Her music producer had listened to the lyrics and pace of the song before producing a beat for it, so she produced what would fit exactly with its pace.

When the recording of the song was still ongoing, it was filled with an immense vibe. Now that they were done with the recording, the song sounded better to the ears.

"Such a cool rap song, Gary, we've signed a unique rapper to the 'Cool Boiz' record label...we've signed a golden girl". The promotion manager said after the climax of the song.

"Yeah, that's true, she's such a gifted rapper. But please Gary, can you remind us once again how you discovered her before signing her to this label?". The promotion staffer implored.

"Hmmm, I discovered her from Instagram. I was at home one certain evening checking through my Instagram page, liking pictures, and so on. Then I came across one of her freestyle rappings in form of a video, she was in a room displaying her rapping skills. I fell in love with her rapping style immediately, I had to call my lawyer at that moment that I've found a potential artiste I'll love to sign to the label. I chatted her up immediately, but she didn't reply until some minutes later,

I told her the reason why I chatted her up, that I loved her style of rapping and I wanted to sign her to my record label, but she didn't believe me. She thought I was some sort of scammer or something, she needed proof that I was the CEO of the record label I claimed to own. So I sent her the logo of the 'Cool Boiz' record label and video called her, seeing my face live on her phone in addition to the logo I sent to her, she believed me immediately. We chatted for a long time and we scheduled a perfect meeting time for the contract signing and so on,

We met here at the headquarter for the contract signing, you all had evacuated this place at that time. Only me, she, and my lawyer were present here at the time of the signing. She had informed her parents about it already, and they concurred to it. So she read the contract carefully to see if it was fair enough, and it was, so she signed it. She did some little freestyle for me before we departed from the headquarter. After that, I summoned you guys for a meeting for the introduction part and so on. That's it". Gary explained.

The promotion staffer smiled and said, "Wow! that's a really nice discovery. The song she just recorded has the potential of blowing up in the music industry and making her famous with just a little promotion. Don't you think so Darcy?".

"I agree with you, I trust myself and my talent". Darcy responded feeling so confident of herself.

"Wow! I love her confidence". The director of publicity chipped in.

"Yeah, an artiste needs this kind of confidence to go far in the music industry". Gary uttered as the rest nodded their heads in agreement.
