The sports week part one.

As days went by Shin made more friends in both his stream and others. Most of these came as a result of him being around with Warrick.

Warrick at this point had so many of his former friends in this school. Most like Nari Heller, we're from his former school while the rest were from around his home area.

Most of these comprised of weird characters, some funny and others sketchy. Sketchy because they had tendencies to be on the gang and theft side of the spectrum if you know what I mean.

These were a few like Marian Sinclair, Kit Enuel and Drick Rad.

Shin got to know these people after having been told that his high school life would be much simpler with some of these guys as friends.

Shin asked Warrick why this was and he replied "you will soon find out why!".

Ohh boy, soon came much faster than later. It was sports week. Shin had always hated school functions since middle school and would always find ways not to attend. He had named these his own extra private holidays the school had made for him.

But this time the history teacher, a mediumly short lady with grey hairs in her shriveled hair and a very soft low toned voice had personally come to tell them the day before that there would be roll call on that day so missing was not an option.

Shin felt pissed as he was already seeing his private holiday and now he had to attend.

The day came and it was a Tuesday. Shin had told his mom about it so she woke up extra early to cook him up some food that he would take. Shin's parents had never once forced him to participate in these kinds of events as they knew he wasn't into such things and they never expected him to bring home anything like a sports certificate or the like.

Shin left for school managed to find his friends Warrick and Bogry standing by the main hall. Every thing had been setup because today was the school's cross country race. The map had been drawn and posted on the main notice board for the past week so that all would familiarize themselves with the route.

The cross country race was a race that was carried out starting from the school to the outside street roads and back to the school making a round journey. The boys route was much harder compared to the girls would had a shorter route. The police was always involved as they would redirect traffic. The student council and scouts would do the work of picking up those that failed to continue through the journey and also being at designated spots so that the would not only see those that cheated but also show them the turns.

The girls had already changed into there sports wear uniform which comprised of different houses' coloured shirts and blue shorts. The boys also had the same getup but most of them would only put on the shirt and use the normal school uniform shorts and trousers. Shin had wondered about this because he noticed this was the norm for the boys and lucky for him, up to that point he had not received his sports short.

Warrick told him that those shorts were considered part of the female uniform by the boys in the entire school so no one in their right mind would put them on because it was then considered gay.

The student council and scouts took up their positions and the teachers started to set the start up.
