Chapter 5

My eyes widen and i look at him. My shocked face changes into a smile. I throw my arms around him and he holds me. I close my eyes and for the first time i feel like i belong.

"You think i'd like her, really?" Kye asks

"Mmm...i dont...know" i say half asleep. Kye smiles and lets me sleep.

Morning

I wake up and Kye is gone. I walk and grab my bag i dig though it. I find a hockey puck looking thing. I grab it out and tap the top button. It buzzes and then doc appears in a hologram.

"Doc!" i say happily

"Hey Alva" doc says

"I miss you. What is it like over there?" i ask

"Well they found out you're gone. They aren't too happy. They have search parties coming out to find you."

"Oh…" i say

Doc loses connection and it hangs up. My ears go down and i feel arms wrap around my stomach.

"Hey" Kye says. I smile and lean back into his arms then i frown again.

"What is it?" Kye asks

"Nothing.." i say

"Just don't leave me" i say softly
