I kidnapped you...

Eric's POV,

I was laughing so hard at keera's bewildered expression when I said, she'd probably cost a few million dollars if I decided to sell her...

She must have thought that I was serious because the look on her face matched that of fear...

I wanted to play along, make her think I was really serious but I just couldn't stop myself from laughing.

Ever since keera got here, I've laughed more than I ever did my entire life and for some odd reason am glad I told her to come back to the cave...

I was bent over while laughing, so I didn't see keera getting up from the rock where she was sitting.

The Next thing I know is that I was falling, I grabbed onto the only thing I could reach, which happens to be keera's hand to stop myself from falling, which of course was a frail attempt considering my built body, and keera's small one...

So before I knew it we were both on the ground.

Oh, well I was on the ground, keera was sprawled on top of me...

I groaned when my body made an impact with the ground not because I was hurt, but because she really got me there.

Am sure she's jubilating for her little success in making me fall.

***

We were in that same position for a while before keera tried to get up, but I just dragged her back down...

This time around, her head was on my chest, because for some reason I didn't want her to get up yet I liked the feeling of her head on my chest...

We stayed in that same position for a while before I said, something and I felt her go stiff...

"Actually, I kidnapped you"

She was stiff for a moment before scrambling to her feet, looking disrupted, and started to pace the length of the cave muttering a few curses.

I stood up from the floor looking at her with an amused expression, but she didn't seem to notice since she was busy pacing back and forth.

I just kept wondering what was going on in that cute little mind of hers as she paced back and forth.

She really isn't taking the news as a normal person would.

I mean when you tell a normal person that they have been kidnapped they'd try to at least escape right? not pace.

I was about to tell her I was joking when she stopped abruptly in front of me and started to shower me with questions without even taking a break to breathe...very unexpected.

An average person would try to find out why they were kidnapped but all keera wanted to know was where I kidnapped her from, who were her family, and if I could take her back home...

Okay, so I told her I kidnapped her only to see how she'd react to the information...only because I wanted to know if she was saying the truth about not having any memories of her past.

And the reaction I got was certainly not what I anticipated.

So I held keera's shoulder and told her to calm down, she looked into my eyes and started to relax a little, and just when I thought she was calm enough to hear what I had to confess she started to cry...

I got so confused, not sure of what to do about that, there's just something about seeing a Lady cry that doesn't sit well with me.

I stood there just holding her shoulders, unsure of whether to hug her or just let her cry on her own.

I later decided to hug her and she just cried into my chest, I guess she is not as tough as she portrays herself to be.

We stood like that for a while, I tried rubbing her back and telling her everything was going to be okay...

I don't know if she believes me but she stopped crying after a while but I continued to hug her until I felt her visibly relax...

I wanted to tell her that I was just kidding about the kidnapping stuff, but I don't want her to start another set of tears.

It's like she cries at the most unexpected times...

"Are you okay?" I asked her after a while but she said nothing, but then she looked up at me and nodded, then tried to get out of our hugging position.

"You know, I am not serious about the kidnapping stuff, right?" I told her after a while, and she just looked at me completely stunned.

"Why would you joke about something that significant?" She asked in a bewildered voice.

"I am sorry I just wanted to make sure of something," I said while scratching the back of my head.

"What, "she asked.

"Nothing," I said, not sure if I should tell her I know who she is.

I don't want her to think I was heartless when I Asked her to leave the cave even though I knew who she was the whole time...

Even if I try to explain to her what my reasons were I don't think she'd understand...

So I think she shouldn't know that I have any idea of whom she really is.

Keera left the cave, probably because she needs some fresh air...

I knew she would be by the waterfall one of her favourite places on this island I presume.

I left the cave wanting to get some fresh air also.

I wanted to go hunting, I love the feeling of catching a game...

I had picked up my gun before I left the cave.

when I reached a point where it was a little bit bushy I went into the bush careful not to scare the animals away.

I took my position somewhere around the Bush waiting to catch a game...

My mind involuntarily drifted off to keera...

The way her eyes shone when she was shocked at how adorable her face looks when her cheeks were tinged red from embarrassment to her naturally pouty lips.

I was so draped in the thoughts of keera that I almost missed my game, it was a bird that was almost as big as a chicken, I don't know its name though I aimed at it before firing...

Only one bullet was all I used and the bird was falling to the ground...

I stared at the falling Bird and went to pick it up the moment It hits the ground...

After picking up my game I left and went back to the cave so I could repair the bird and make it ready for grilling.

When I arrived at the cave I saw keera still sitting by the waterfall I didn't want to disrupt her peace so I just went into the cave and started to ready the meat for the grille...

I was done removing the unwanted part of the meat and about to start the fire for the grilling when keera walked in...

I then turn to look at her closely and she looked much calmer than before I left.

"You feeling okay? I asked

"yeah, I feel much better,

Where did you get that" she asked?

"I went hunting while you were sulking," I said back and continued to make the fire.

The sun was about to set, and the night air was a bit chilly indicating that it would soon be Winter...

Winter also meant time to go back home...

Going back home also meant facing my family which I dreaded...

Keera came and sat by the fire probably to keep warm while our dinner roasts...

"Do you really want to go home?" I asked keera and she nodded while staring at the fire before saying

"I don't know perhaps there's someone who might be looking for me," she said slowly and then her face looked down.

Oh God, I really should stop making her unhappy, I thought to myself before thinking about something I could do to lighten up the mood.

"Hey, wanna play a game," I asked her hopefully that would cheer her up...

As if she read my mind her face lit up like that of a toddler been taken to an ice cream store...

"Yes, what's the game, and what are the rules"

Okay now I bemoaned offering to play a game, I knew nothing about games, I don't think I've ever played any before so I totally sulk at this...

I racked my brain trying to remember any games at all but I could only think of one...
