Eric...

Eric POV,

#previously

I waited patiently watching the family reunion, but in reality, I wasn't really waiting patiently because I couldn't wait to get out of here.

I know the more I stayed there, where I could still see her, the more I would want to hold on to her, even though I know that would never work out.

When they were done with the reunion, her mom looked towards me with a beautiful smile and that made me realize what how much Keerah looked exactly like her even the way they smiled.

When they were separated from the hug, they asked me to come inside with them and I followed behind them when they went in because I had so many things that I wanted to talk to them about before I leave.

I could have let them catch up with their daughter and come back later to talk about the issue, but I can't because I didn't want to have come back here again and

"Thank you for bringing back our daughter," she said smiling brightly at me.
