Chapter 65: Becoming a Badass Sorcerer

Since I am finished with my immediate goal, I decided to sell some gold anonymously. Then I went ahead and bought myself a manor in Aalto.

I will be coming here regularly to meet with Natasha even after I leave for Congress of Magic, it's kinda funny that I am planning on visiting her even though I have yet to meet her.

Laying on my new bed I mentally pulled out the books that I recovered from the sorcerer.(Using the Spirit Library) The readable parts are mostly astrology.

This is actually what I am planing to focus on I don't even need the details of this worlds cultivation methods, I just need the start and the rest will be easy, so I read the book and got in a meditative state looking for my host star of destiny.

I was a bit worried that I blew it up with my Desperado status but I eventually found it. Remember when I said Desperado is not a complete escape from fate, yeah my host star of destiny is a star that's staying side by side with a black hole.

Now that black hole is also a part of my star, It seems like I blew half of my star and collapsed it into a black hole when I became a Desperado.

Now that I found it I can connect to it and use it to draw spiritual essence in the air but I am already "full" the only thing that's stopping me from directly breaking through the ranks and reaching Demigod Sorcerer status is myself.

I am holding off on my breakthrough since reaching Legendary rank will turn my inner world into a real plane of existence and I don't want to do that until I properly study and get my understanding to a good point.

Unlike Lucien I will also seek to understand "Life" and "Soul" as well, I want to be able to create life. Why? Well why not?

My inner world will change based on my understanding but it's also limited, knowing atoms exist won't change my inner world. I have to scientifically prove it myself.

So for that effort I created ridiculous amount of clones in my ring to study and devise experiments for needed results. I already have Protagonist cheat in my hands.

It will only take me a month or two before I am ready to go through with it the ring will stop the feedback from the world preventing any possible mishap. I should also help Douglas to reach Demigod rank to alleviate the suspicion towards me. It's not like I can always hide my power and being honest with Congress of Magic will get me lots of positive points. My future aunt in law works for them after all.

Since my "study" is underway I went ahead and found Silvia under stealth and marked her, I need to approach her other identity during one of those sorcerer meetings.

I also sent some clones to scour the city for sorcerer traitors and kill them. I really want to get over with all of this and settle down. I even have a retirement plan!

I went to the pub Rhine plays, found him. minor spike of my power was enough to get his attention.

Seeing that I am not here to fight he nodded and left the building, expecting me to follow him. Leaving the city we found ourselves in the forest.

"May I know who you are sir?" Rhine asks he is also ready to fight. I mean who would lower their guard.

"Ethan Ambrosius, an aspiring harem king and a demigod." I finish with a small gentlemanly bow.

"Well, good luck with the harem Mr Ambrosius but now seriously who are you?" I use origin trigger and my body starts glow. My skin turns pale while two wings spouts from my back one angelic other demonic, meanwhile two draconic horns grow out of my head.

"Is this enough proof?" I ask while shutting off the trigger.

"Damn! Sure keep it off, you're gonna get the whole church on us." He jokes, as if church can harm him here.

"We're hidden don't worry."I wave my hands at his concerns not realizing he is joking.

"Now, what do you need from me?." He asks with a curious expression, he is still laid back.

"It's hard to find her observer, here this is a communication trinket you can tell if it's safe or not. Call me if you need help." It's a simple design so he can understand it's functions but not how it works.

"Why?" He is genuinely confused since I didn't ask anything from him.

"Like I said, I am an aspiring harem king and you're my only ticket to Alterna the only female demigod." His eyes widens but before he can defend the honor of his goddess I teleported out of there.

Since Ophis became a teenager, my Loli quota is empty. I can just add Alterna, she's legal.

'Ethan?'

'Fine no loli in the harem Vally.'

I found out that there will be a meeting amongst sorcerer communities in Aalto, they're apparently going to discuss the latest execution.

I donned my cloak and went to the meeting point, the magician sent by the Congress of Magic has already been killed by the church but I can introduce myself as his or hers partner.

The groups where naturally suspicious but they became trusting after I sat down and explained basics of maths and other things they don't understand.

They're rather trusting once you prove you know Arcana, too bad for them most church members also study Arcana but they're still blind believers.

By the end of the night I revealed that I am working on a space magic ritual that will take them to the city near Allyn and they will have to find The Ferryman to get to Congress.

They grumbled for a while when they learned they need to take his test to prove their loyalty but they can't really complain about it.

For the extra dramatic effect I opened a portal to my house using my Rinnegan (It's still with me but it's not my eye anymore) and went home that way.

I believe that should be "cool" enough to shut them up during my next visit.
