Pink Figure

There I was, standing on the edge of a hill. The vision in front of me was a street familiar to anyone who's seen the childhood show, Spongebob. It was a street with three building that could only exist in storybooks. The nearest to me was a giant rock with an antenna on top of it, next was what appears to be a long-faced man-looking building, and lastly, as you'd expect, a large pineapple with two windows diagonally on said fruit.

In shock, I started moving my arms. As I do so, bubbles appeared following my arm's heavy motions. On the other hand, if I moved lightly, these bubbles were not created. That was when I realized; I was underwater!

It's been roughly 30 seconds since I saw the view ahead of me when a blue-like popup appeared in front of my vision. I was surprised to see a floating text appeared in front of my eyes. It said:

============================================================

Warning: Systematic Protection is ending. Please ensure you are adjusted to the environment, and that you are in a safe location. Timer: 30 seconds.

============================================================

'Wait; what?' Immediately, I thought to myself, 'This is a dream, right?'. I started pinching myself in an attempt to wake myself up, but what did I expect, it didn't work.

Uh... What should I do now?

Right then and there, with a slightly squeaky yet distinct voice

"BAHAHAHHAHAHAHAA" I heard someone laughing.

I scanned through my surrounding to notice that the squeaky sound came from the pineapple across the streets. It was a distance away from me, and I had to get there ASAP before my 30 seconds ended.

I thought to myself, what was the fastest way to get down there? Since I am underwater, likely, the water would drastically slow my fall from the hill if I were to jump. Then again, I have a limited understanding of physics or... Spongebob. So it's all about whether I was willing to risk it or not. Ten seconds passed by as the warning system continued to count down.

Screw it. I'm doing it. It's most likely a dream anyway. What's the worst that could happen? Waking up?

And so I jumped.

"AAAAHHH" I screamed as the water current was brushing against my face.

My heart pounded heavily, yet slowly, I realized that my theory was working. I fell at a much slower rate than initially, to the point where I was practically gliding down. I did believe that it was a dream, but it was still awfully realistic.

As I reached the ground, I sprinted as much as I could whilst glancing over the popup, 8 seconds remaining.

I rushed and was almost near the gigantic rock with an antenna on top, but at that point, the timer ran out. A terrible understanding came to my realization. I can't breathe anymore. As an 18-year-old man who's been riding his scooter, and rarely exercised, I ran out of breath from all that running and couldn't take another step. I fell on the street right beside the gigantic rock. 'I wish I could wake up right now' i thought as I started passing out. It was then when I vaguely saw a pink-like figure moving in my line of vision.
