Sandy Cheeks, the squirrel, realised what was happening to them. She quickly ran to the bed I was tied up in, and with zero wasted time, she said
"I'll untie ya if ya promise to help me alright?"
I nodded as I felt somewhat responsible for what was happening to them. Seeing this, Sandy untied the rope quickly, and then said: "Ya' pick up Patrick, I'll grab Spongebob!"
Although there was no formal introduction between us, I knew the character Patrick Star from my younger days. So, I went down from the bed to the grass below me and picked up the gigantic starfish who was three-quarter my size.
"UGGHHHHH" I struggled as I tried picking him up. For a starfish, he's ridiculously heavy! I curse my past self for never exercising, whereas Sandy just stood there, almost laughing despite the crisis for time.
...
"Let's switch!" she said, taking notice that I was looking at her helplessly.
Quickly, we switched role and thank goodness, Spongebob still weighs like a sponge.
I carried him on my back with Sandy leading the way. She pointed to the gigantic tree on the centre of this spherical building. There, she touched a part of the tree which was actually a door camouflaged into the tree's color.
"Come in!" she said.
Inside was a fully furnished room, just like a typical household. Sandy spared no time and moved quickly to a sink, took off Patrick's fishbowl, and started filling it in water.
'Dammit, Sandy still has no idea how gravity worked.' I thought.
Thinking on my feet, I ran and brought Spongebob to another door, hoping that there was a particular facility in this house.
I opened the door, and it was the bathroom.
'Yes!' I thought to myself. I quickly scanned the surroundings, and then rushed for the bathtub. Next, I opened the channel for water, took off Spongebob's fishbowl, lifted him up and moved him inside the tub.
Meanwhile, Sandy was just about to pick the filled bowl back to Patrick's head. As she flipped the fishbowl over, the water started to drench all over Patrick.
"What in the tarnation," she said in confusion.
As I saw what was happening, I shouted "Sandy! Bring him in here!"
Following my instruction, Sandy moved Patrick to the bathroom. His complexion was getting worse, and his skin started to wrinkle all over. Right about then, I looked over the bathtub only to realise, there's no water. It confused me for a while until I looked at Spongebob.
SpongeBob's complexion has improved back to his normal state, but I noticed that he grew by about twice his original size.
"Aaaahhh..," he said in a relaxed tone as he could breathe once again. He smiled, noticing that we're here, and glanced over at Patrick.
"PATRICK! Is that you!?" Spongebob said, shifting his happy face to one that was panicking.
"Spongebob! Can you release some of the water that you absorbed?" I asked,
"Yes?" he said confusingly, as though it was the most obvious answer in the world.
"Put it back to the tub and don't absorb it, let Patrick breath in the water! Keep just enough for yourself!" I replied to him
Spongebob nodded and Immediately began exhaling water from his skin as though it was a mouth and said: "Don't worry Patrick, I'm gonna save you!"
As the water flows back to the tub, I looked at Sandy to ask her to carry Patrick in the tub, but she did so before I said anything.
As Patrick's skin was exposed to the water, his complexion improved just like Spongebob's did. And finally, he breathed.
After a decent moment of silence, it was broken down by a loud voice.
"HAHAHHAHA Let's do that again!" Patrick said with a low and somewhat idiotic voice.
I stared at him and sighed '... Does he have no understanding of death?'
yet I was relieved that they were okay.
