Here We Go Again

From this letter, I could confirm on how to use the bookmark. I also learnt that we could indeed take out items from the other world, but is likely to be achieved with a specific condition. Lastly, the way I modify the book can truly impact reality as we know it. Those are the three rules I learnt from experience.

As of right now, likely, I could not even dent the influential people behind my Dad's murder. I can't rush this; I need to grow stronger; the easiest way for me to do so is to gain items from the other world and use them in the real world. Money is also a must-have for revenge, but also the comfort of my mom; she worked so hard for me, it's time she enjoys a nice holiday.

So, the last question is: How can I optimise the use of this bookmark. Although I do think I need to gain equipment, a more important priority is to investigate more about my Dad's death. There might be clues about it in the world of Naruto.

'Investigating in a world like Naruto was a bad idea' I knew that. Especially knowing that my Dad died in that very same world due to its excessive difficulty. Yet, a little boy who considered his dad died in his book for abandoning him; only to realise that it was all an incorrect assumption would do this same dumb move in a heartbeat. It was not logical. It was pure emotional but it was a necessary step to move on.

Yet, the next question would be when I should enter the world? Although the answer to that question seemingly sounds hard to track, I can think of one thing to identify when I should reach there, which is finding the anomaly in the story. I might not look like it, but I was a big fan of Naruto when I was young, and finished the series a few times even before my Dad's death. After a long while of scanning through online naruto manga at random, I realised that this idea was flawed. I didn't have this power back then, so it likely that my memory was also shifted and I'd not recognise a difference.

The next best thing I could do was to search for the author's comment and find an anomaly similar to that of Spongebob. However, I didn't understand Japanese! So that failed quickly.

Hmmm.... wait a minute...

I seem to recall a character called Peter. He appeared for a short period, barely one or two columns, introducing himself to Sakura at the great ninja war arc. It stood out to me since it was the only English name in the book. I can't say for sure, but it was probably worth looking it up. Once I searched it, a pleasant surprise was waiting for me at the result. The character did exist, alas only appearing in one page. Is this part of the artificial memory that bookmark gave me? It feels odd knowing that this isn't the true memory I was supposed to have.

Nevertheless, I went ahead and searched for the books that mom gave me, but I couldn't find the right volume. So I went online, and I checked. Sure enough, after a few moments of investigation, I identified with the chapter he appeared in... It was near the camp used to heal injured shinobis; he looked fine at that point. Now that I think about it, does this mean I could potentially meet my Dad inside the storybook? I need to try, and maybe I could save him!

I checked the corresponding volume to the chapter; Volume 59. Alright, I'll quickly buy it.

I rushed through the bookstore near my place, used up some of the money that I spared and bought it.

I immediately rushed home and went straight to bed; it's time to go!

I placed the bookmark into the chapter I wanted, 558; which was right where I saw him, and without thinking, I went to sleep.
