It looked as though Hashirama was discussing to Sasuke about the history of Konoha, similar to the comics. Hashirama then took notice of Madara, surprised, and said,
"Hello, old friend!" while smiling.
As one would know from reading the book, Hashirama is one of the strongest shinobi in the world, rivalling that of Madara, but also a very idealistic and at times a happy-go-lucky man. His appearance was also wearing a red armour plate, but with a skin tone darker than Madara, and a straight hair rather than Madara's spikey hair. Of course, the main difference between the two would be the Sharingan.
Madara looked at Hashirama with an urging battle aura, "Hashirama!". Madara was obviously preparing for a fight, as he moved on to his battle stance. It seemed as though he completely forgot about why we're here, and would rather fight Hashirama instead.
Reactively, all the kages, except for Hashirama went into a battle stance covering him. Both side's battle aura continuously increase, as I could begin feeling the suffocation once more; though it's slightly better as the both side's aura are cancelling each other. Madara could single-handedly rival or even slightly dominate against the Hokages in terms of battle aura. It looked as though a fight was about to break out, that is until Hashirama interfered.
"Stop this at once, little brother, and the remaining Hokages." He then looked at Orochimaru and asked him, "Did you summon Madara too?"
Orochimaru shook his head in response. The battle aura began to reduce, as Hashirama's voice dominated the room.
"Why are you here, Madara?" Hashirama said
"It doesn't matter now, come, let's fight!!!" Madara replied to him, excited at the potential that he could finally fight the one true rival that could rival him.
"Same old Madara..." Hashirama replied, though he was smiling. He then talked to Orochimaru, "Tell me, what's happening that all of us are summoned here?"
This was the first time I saw Madara lose his cool, as his basic instinct to fight was taking over him. Though he was slightly quiet right now, seeing that Hashirama practically ignored his battle invitation.
Orochimaru then began explaining that the world was at war, and he pointed to Madara and said, "He's the cause of this."
Hashirama then looked at Madara, "Again with the war?" Hashirama then began closing his eyes, as though he was trying to sense something, then he said, "The battlefield. It looks like your side is winning, Madara. The ten tail is almost resurrected."
Something has changed within the comic. The ten tail was resurrected faster than it was originally supposed to be, though I have no clue about why it's happening.
Madara, who was excited, began to stay quiet now. He too closed his eyes, and sensed what was happening.
"Obito." Madara whispered silently. "What is he thinking, I told him to wait for me."
Madara regained his cool, realising that the plan is still more important right now, although it was obvious he regrets not being able to fight Hashirama right now. He then moved to the monument while signaling me to come along.
Although no one but me could see it, Madara has changed his vision to that of the rinnegan now, as he was investigating the stone tablet. That is until Madara suddenly activated the skeleton-like susano'o to block two sharp-looking water-technique at the shape of a large needle. One was targeted at me, and the other to Madara. It was Tobirama. He then said,
"Big brother, we can kill them right now; we have the power of the Hokages, we can end this war right here and right now!"
"A mere insect wants to kill me?" Madara looked back at the second Hokage (Tobirama), with his rinnegan. "Think again you fool!" A large Susano'o sword swung straight at the second Hokage at incredible speed.
However, woods appeared at a similar speed in between the Susanoo's attack and Tobirama. Though the wood was half destroyed, it managed to neutralise the Susanoo's attack. The impact of the attack between the two sides managed to shake the room.
Madara then stared at Hashirama once more, contemplating something; He obviously wanted to fight Hashirama badly. Yet, he managed to suppress this and told Hashirama, "Hashirama. I'll see you on the battlefield, we'll fight again there."
Hashirama looked at Madara's eyes. "The rinnegan."
Madara then moved out of the corridor; of course, I followed along especially noticing that Tobirama seemed like he would kill me if he saw the chance. Though most of the people there would love to continue with the fight, as it was perhaps the best chance that they perceived to kill(seal) Madara, the first Hokage stopped them, and told them to "let him go"
I wondered what must be going through the first Hokage's head right now, is it because we were under Konoha that he stopped them from fighting knowing the battle would destroy the village, or is it because of something else?
It was the first conflict between the two legendary figures, whereas the rest could not help but feel like they were but a supporting character within this room, not even Sasuke could've escaped this feeling.
