Chapter - 16

That night, all three kept talking to Vibha about how good of a person she was. They thought she needed it. Well, she really did. They wanted her to

relax and be happy.

They all sat in the balcony to have dinner. Just then, Natasha got a call.

"Hello?" Nash answered.

"Natasha, I want to talk to Vibha. I can sort things out." It was Arnav calling from a unknown number.

"Why now? She is recovering. And you better stay away from her." Nash warned.

"No! I am coming to Pune tomorrow. And you see to it that she meets me." He demanded.

"What the fuck? Am I your slave? And

secondly, pray God I don't kill you!" She almost shouted on the phone.

"Good. I knew won't help me bitch!" And hung up.

Natasha was so furious now. She literally shattered a glass to floor. And finally told Vibha what her ex was about to do. Dhruv and Mayank

exchanged glances.

They knew what was to be done. Vibha didn't fear her ex coming to her and

talking. What she feared was letting her guard down.

The next day, they went to college like

always. But Vibha could hardly pay attention in the class. She knew her ex would come so prepared and she didn't want to get carried away. She had to

prepare her mind for all possible things he would say. It gave her chills. By the time, college was about to conclude for the day, she was lost again.

Dhruv had a peek at Arnav's anger before. And was sure Arnav might try to hurt Vibha. Dhruv would not let anyone hurt Vibha. Only realizing had

fallen for her soul. For the one she was, happy and beautiful, gentle and genuine.

  And now she was empty inside. He could feel her sadness from those

tired eyes.

"Those eyes...' Dhruv always thought.

  Vibha always had a habit of hiding her feelings. Yet Dhruv could read her mind simply staring at her big beautiful eyes. He had loved those eyes since the day he'd met her. The whole group would

do crazy fun together but only Dhruv would leaning back and listen to the stories her eyes silently told. But since she had loved Arnav so much, Dhruv had hid his emotions into the dark corners of his mind.

  The college got over, Natasha, Mayank and Dhruv caught hold of Vibha. They didn't want her to suffer alone. Getting into the car, Mayank wanted to warn everyone. Still, he thought it was no time to freak Vibha out. Outside the gate, they saw Arnav standing.

  Vibha told them not to wait for him. They straight headed towards Vibha's flat. Mayank could see from the mirror Arnav was following them.

  "Wait! Vibha...." Arnav got down from his car.

  "She doesn't want to talk. Vibha and Natasha go upstairs." Mayank seemed very angry.

"Who the fuck are you? Vibha and I can handle it out" Arnav roared.

"JUST GO!" Vibha shouted turning back.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT NOW?" This

outraged side of Vibha was new to Mayank and Vibha had run towards the staircase and wanted to stay there to listen what was going on.

Arnav followed her with more pace. He caught Vibha by her arm. And he pushed her banging her head on the wall. Vibha felt her head go numb.

Yet she kept repeating,

  "Just go, just go. I don't want to talk to you." Saying this a few times, Vibha lost her conscious. Natasha and Dhruv ran towards her.

  "ARNAV!" Dhruv had lost his temper now. Pointing towards Dhruv, Arnav let out a Sarcastic laughter,

"Oh! So that's your knight in shining armor, Vibha? Or your knight to warm you In bed?"

In spite of Mayank and Natasha being near her, Arnav wanted to slap Vibha. Instead he punched Dhruv in the face. Dhruv's eyes seemed boiling blood. Yet he didn't do anything, he tried to stay

calm.

  Vibha had regained her conscious. Natasha was in shell shock! Out of nowhere, a few guys appeared. This meant Arnav was here to create

scene.

On one signal both Mayank and Dhruv got punches and kicks.

  "Don't take them in between..." Vibha tried to get up.

  "Why? Can't see Dhruv getting hurt? Am so sorry Vibha, I had always wanted it." Arnav was loving this. His face was lit up with glory of evilness

  And Dhruv got surrounded with those guys now. He was not afraid. But he felt sorry for Vibha.

Mayank tried to break the circle to help Dhruv. But, he was pushed away by those boys. Dhruv was hit continuously with rods. Natasha had survived the shock and had called

police.

  Mayank and Vibha tried to save Dhruv. It only failed because they were outnumbered.

  Vibha could finally think straight when the police took away those guys and Arnav. Mayank had his influences to make it so that no case was made and Armav was to taken out of the city under their supervision. None of them had to go to police station.

Mayank, Vibha and Dhruv were taken to hospital. Dhruv had the most bruises and cuts. But doctor said he would be fine by the weekend.

"L..I'm so sorry...you had to ..." Vibha cried for Dhruv and Mayank.

"All my fault! " She kept saying.

"It's ok" said Mayank.

"See, don't think about it now. We are fine." Dhruv said.
