Naruto belongs to its creators. I own nothing.
Any other references are just references; I obviously can't claim them either.
I am a shitty and a very lazy writer, but I still try to proofread and execute grammar checks. Not well, but it's more effort than some people around here.
Also, as a semi-self-insert, I will base MC's actions around how I would act and change based on my surroundings. Along with taking account of the personalities of the people he interacts with. Though I will make him do crazy and nonsensical things and create some bullshit op techniques that might or might not make sense as do other writers.
The main focus of this story is Chakra, Techniques, Training, and Limit breaking.
Knowledge of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden is recommended.
P.S. Inspired by Ninja Gamer & Yami: The Gamer Kage.
Also, by Tensei Shitara Dai Nana Ouji Dattanode, Kimamani Majutsu o Kiwamemasu.
Maybe by some other shit as well. I read a lot.
-------------------
"So, because I was run over by a truck, I get to be reborn as a game-like character and customize my birth however I want?"
[Yes. though it is a system focused on skill, so no class level ups or stat point allocation.]
"Weird, so what world is set for me? Also, do I get to control the circumstances of my birth?"
[The world selected for you is Naruto Universe (a.k.a. The Elemental Nations), you will be born during the same year as the main character. However, you have a limited degree of control over your background and talents.]
"Fuck, I'd rather go into a slice of life anime.
[Tough luck.]
Well, whatever. I just got to make myself as overpowered as possible, yet still, hide my strength. Though, I might be too enraptured with mastering chakra. It's basically magic ninja style. Just replace mana with chakra.
This matches perfectly with my biggest fantasy; wanting to be able to use otherworldly energy. Hell, I was one of those kids that tried to actually fire a Kamehameha, even though I knew it was impossible. However, I need to keep myself in check to make sure I don't become an Orochimaru knockoff, constantly desiring to master all ninjutsu regardless of the cost. I apparently looked like a pedophile in my past life, according to my younger brother and his friends, I don't want to actually become one.
I could also try and set myself up so that I don't have to do a single thing, just sit on the sidelines... Hmm. Kinda like a certain medical ninja who screams for or at Naruto all day...
A Nara Clan style plan is forming in my head (a clan full of lazy people within the new world).
"Anyways, I remember that you have something extra to propose to me?"
[Based on your merits, you would start with 8 perk points to spend to power yourself up (the average given out is 6-7). I am offering the option of using 6 points to obtain:
Long Term Survival Achievement Pack]
Huh, I'm slightly above average, nice. "So, what is this Survival Achievement Pack?"
[Extra rewards that are given upon obtaining basic achievements and long-term success.
Granting:
One technique that you choose within Naruto (as long have the aptitude to learn it): Once you have become a Genin, once more when you have become a Chunin, and once more when you are a Jonin.
One "Unique" possession to be carried over from your old world adapted to your new world: Applicable only once, and only when you have conquered your first dungeon.
1 perk point for every time you complete a [EX] level dungeon for the first time.]
"Oh, so there are dungeons to conquer? Good to know. Though, what's the point if there are no levels to grind?"
[Unique and special rewards, along with interesting events.]
"Are Gamer's mind and body already given?"
[Similar versions of the abilities, yes. Granting you limitless potential... if you work for it.]
"Sounds cool. I'll take your offer then."
[It is set, and unlike the rest of the customization process, this decision cannot be undone. Please proceed to the character creation menu.]
"Cool beans. Let's begin."
[Welcome to Character Creation Interface!
Note: The more you randomize your physical options or penalize yourself, the more perk points you can be granted as a bonus.]
"Oh? Then randomized all of my appearance except my gender, keep that as a male."
[Done.]
"Can I see?"
[No, otherwise there is no risk as I allow you to change your mind at any stage of the reincarnation process. If you see the results of your randomization and change your mind. Then that mitigates most of the risks. No risk, no reward.]
That's fair, I can respect that, so how many points do I get from this?
[1, if you allowed for complete randomization, you would get 1.5.]
Tempting, but I'm not going to let myself regret losing my dong to a coin flip. I'm sure many other men or women would agree with me on that. While I'm adaptive enough that if I was forced to be a girl I wouldn't fight back, but if I have a choice, I will choose to be a dude ninety-nine percent of the time.
[Understandable, however, the option still exists.]
"Show me the list of flaws." Unsurprisingly, there were a lot of them. I began reading through them and selected a couple of the ones that I felt affected me the least, or had effects that I could circumvent.
Chosen Flaws:
[Expressionless and Boring: Your ability to express your emotions is limited, and your voice is monotone. While slightly beneficial for trying to hide a lie, it makes it more difficult to socialize and reduces short-term reputation gains with others. It also negates the acquisition of any acting and flirting skills. This can be temporarily bypassed with extreme emotions, but with social consequences. 0.5pp.
I was already anti-social, and a bit dead-faced, I can live with this again. Makes it so that the few friends I have will are more likely to be genuine.
Without Affinity: You are born without any affinity to any of the usual elements. You must raise your control of an element from the ground up without any enhanced experience modifier. This also negates any elemental affinity you may gain from having a bloodline Kekkai Genkai and negates your ability to choose an elemental Kekkai Genkai as a starter perk. Does not affect any affinity to yin or yang release. 1.75pp.
Pffft. I will have a system, and when I get my hands on the Shadow Clone Jutsu, training elements will be a cinch.
Orphan: Uncared for and without any parental figure for aid, mentorship, or cash. Increased risk of "disappearing" out of nowhere during the age of 4-8. The chance will stay high if your social presence is low until you are a Genin. 0.5pp plus 0.25pp due to having Expressionless and Borring. Total of 0.75pp.
I was an adult before I died, I love my previous parents and would rather not adapt to new ones. Plus, the synergy between this and the other perk is nice, while a bit worrying. I will bear the risks nevertheless.
Feeble Body: Born with a body weaker than the average person. 0.25pp.
Some Rock Lee level training will fix that right up. I loved to train my body in my past life anyways.
Illegible: Unable to learn fuinjutsu until you are a master at calligraphy, reduces the growth rate of calligraphy by 50%. 0.75pp.
Seals are overpowered, but I prefer chakra magic stuff, I will deal with seals later.
Proceed with the following flaws?]
"Yep. I am satisfied with what I have chosen and am pretty happy with the fact that I almost broke even. Show me the perk list." There are fewer perks than there were flaws. However, that was mostly due to a certain flaw of mine limiting much of my choices. Can't choose lava release if I can't have fire or earth release.
Then I saw something that drew my attention, a new dojutsu mutation? Hmm, its side powers are a mix of the Sharingan and the Byakugan, though only some parts of their powers. While it can also grow stronger through training, it can't evolve into any god mode eyes like becoming a Mangekyo Sharingan, Tenseigan, or Rinnegan. However, its main ability is what draws me in.
The Byakugan can see 360 degrees and control tenketsu's while the Sharingan can copy jutsu, but this thing can seal/reject other Dojutsus!
Fuck Kamui, fuck Chibaku-Tensei, fuck Infinite Tsukiyomi, fuck all that. What's the point of cool abilities if someone says fuck you and you suddenly can't use any of them anyway? I can basically say no to Madara Uchiha summoning two meteorites.
After such an exciting new find, I decided to continue with my perk selection.
[You have: (8 minus 6 equals 2) plus 1 plus 0.5 plus 1.75 plus 0.75 plus 0.25 plus 0.75 equals 7 Perk Points.
You have chosen the following Perks:
The Antithesis of Eyes: You have vibrant red eyes that glow. Its side abilities are genjutsu enhancement, X-Ray vision, chakra/life force vision, and some others. Its main ability is to temporarily lock and seal away the dojutsu of others at even the slightest glance. It cannot evolve into any God level eyes such as Tensaigan and Rinnigan. -3 Perk Points
Chakra Monster: Born with chakra capacity that can rival the Uzumaki's and Senju's. That's it, no bonus to sealing, no mystical chains, no boost to jutsu mastering, no crazy elemental release, and no extreme regeneration. Just a whole bunch of chakra. -2 Perk Points
Finely Tuned Energy: Enhances the rate at which you gain experience in chakra control. -1 Perk Points
Boosted Mind: Easier time learning techniques, gaining knowledge, and permanently maintaining that knowledge. -1 Perk Point
Proceed with the following Perks?]
"Yes." With this, I could easily replace Sakura and then some. I can then safely cruise through the Naruto storyline without issue... That is if I want to.
If I change ever change my mind, I can just as easily cause chaos and flip the metaphorical plot table as well.
Always good to leave your options open after all. Though I doubt I would care much about anything other than messing around with chakra. I would have nothing better to do anyway. Anime and cartoons wouldn't be like it is on earth, and video games are extremely underdeveloped.
So, becoming a chakra simp is the only choice for me!
[Reincarnation process initializing. Good Luck.]
