Dream

"Tell me everything," the king said.

The princess explained, "While I was on my way to meet Adam, I saw father, but he looked and acted different. He told me that he's been hiding in the Water kingdom these past few months because he was a fugitive. Then he told me to find a place for him in our kingdom without you and elder brother knowing. Until one day, I found you lying on the floor. I then immediately checked if you were still breathing, but you were gone. When I went to the place where father was hiding, he wasn't there and that's it."

"I can sense that he's alive. I'm positive."

"I'm really worried. How could father do such a thing?"

"I'm sure your dream symbolizes something,"

"What if father was just accused?"

"Then we'll have to figure it out once the time comes, but as of now, we shouldn't be pondering about this." Cameron smiled.

"I see. By the way, I plan to take a trip to Agua island tomorrow to mitigate my misery. It'll only be just for a few days," Kaycee informed.

"I'll go with you."

"Brother, I really need some privacy, but Eva is coming with me."

"If it's the only way to make you feel better, then go for it."

"Thank you, brother. I'll probably be back within a week."

When Kaycee left the king's room, she immediately went to Farah and informed her that Eva wouldn't be working for a few days. After telling her, she then went to Eleanor. She told her, "Stop what you're doing now and get some rest. You are going on a trip with me tomorrow."

"Your highness, why would we go on a trip together?" Eleanor asked.

"I'm going there to alleviate my headache and you're going with me because I won't be able to enjoy everything if I go alone," the princess explained.

"I see. Then I'll be packing my things now."

When Eleanor went to her room, she instantly arranged her stuff until Olivia went in the room and asked her where she was going. Then Eleanor told her that she had to go on a trip with the princess.

"Yesterday you left me and now you're taking a trip with the princess?" Olivia exclaimed.

"Yesterday was unintentional and I'm just following orders from the princess. Don't worry because when I come back, I'll make it up to you."

"Speaking of yesterday, I heard you were locked in the king's room. Did you take the opportunity to look for the red gem?"

"I didn't because it's too obvious."

"What about the king? Did you guys do anything last night?" Olivia asked.

The princess lied, "We didn't."

"Don't be shy! What happened?"

"I slept on his bed and he slept on the floor."

"What else?"

"Nothing more."

"Don't lie to me. I know you did something, so spit it," Olivia responded.

Eleanor told her, "Okay, Okay. It's like this. He accidentally fell on top of me and he just kissed me out of nowhere."

"Kiss? Again? Why do I have this feeling that the king has fallen for you?"

"That's not possible. He told me that I just reminded him of someone."

"You don't need to explain, but think about this. If ever he did like you, don't you have a bigger chance of getting the red gem?"

"You're not wrong, but why would the king like a maid like me?"

"You aren't a maid. You are a princess, so don't show any sign of you being one."

"I know. Anyway, it's my turn to ask. Why didn't you sleep here last night?" Eleanor asked as she was packing her things.

"I slept at Farah's room," Olivia lied.

"Oh really? Why would Farah let you sleep in her room if you have your own?"

"Okay, fine. You've caught me. I slept at the prince's room last night," Olivia said as she was laid on her bed.

"I'm not surprised. I noticed that he's been eyeing you lately."

"It's really unusual for a prince to let a maid sleep on his bed."

"You slept on his bed? With him?"

"He forced me too. I had no choice."

"Did he do anything?"

"We-Well He just kept hugging me and grabbing my waist," Olivia answered.

"Really? Why do guys these days like to play with our hearts?" Eleanor asked.

"I know, but not gonna lie, my face was really red yesterday."

The princess smiled. "It's fine. There's nothing wrong with falling in love. Stop thinking about that already. It's getting late and we should sleep."
