The queen answered, "There's really nothing—"


Before she was even able to finish, Mia started feeling dizzy until she suddenly collapsed. Mateo then immediately called the royal doctor as he was carrying the queen to the bed.


A few hours later, Mia slowly opened her eyes and saw Mateo sitting on the stool beside her bed. The king then stood up and said, "You're finally awake. I was so worried!"


The queen smiled. "I'm feeling a lot better."


"Why didn't you tell me?" Mateo asked. "About your pregnancy."


"What are you talking about? Who said I'm pregnant?"


"Eleanor has already told me everything and the royal doctor said that you were aware of your pregnancy. Why didn't you inform me?" 


"Can't-Can't I just say it whenever I want?" 


"You don't know how glad I was when I heard that I'm already a father," the king replied.


The queen's eyes then widened. She told him that she thought that he'd let her abort the baby since he hated children, but as soon as Mateo heard that, he bursted into laughter.


Mia looked at him. "You're not angry?" 


Mateo giggled. "Why would I be angry at my spouse?" 


"I understand why you didn't. It's my fault for telling you that I didn't like children."


The king then kissed her forehead and said, "I'm sorry too."


"Does he really have to be here?" Leo asked.


Cameron glared. "Can't I? I don't trust you."


"He won't leave no matter what you say," Eleanor sighed.


Leo then took a deep breathe and explained that he didn't come to the Water kingdom because his father wanted him to. He came because he was forced by a man named Jack. A few months ago, Jack revived and ordered him to go to the Water kingdom and lie that he wasn't dead. Jack also told him that if he is unable to make Eleanor fall for him, he'd torture him to death. At first, Leo objected, but Jack threatened him. He gave Leo a pill which kept him alive and once Leo drinks it, there's no turning back. Leo will have to keep taking the pill every three days or else he'll feel pain inside his chest.


"What does this Jack look like?" Eleanor asked.


Leo answered, "It's the Jack that killed your twin brother,"


"He must've wanted revenge since your father killed Helen."


"My father killed his wife? Helen killed Eric!" the princess shouted as tears started falling from her face.


"Do you have any idea what the guy he's working with looks like?" Cameron asked.


Leo put his hand under his chin. "I did see him once, but he was always wearing a mask, so I didn't see him."


"You said that Jack brought you back from the dead. How is that?"


"No idea. I died around thirteen years ago."


"If you died such a long time ago, why do you look like a grown man? Aren't you suppose to be around seven?" Eleanor scratched her head.


"I woke up in this body. He transformed me," Leo replied.


Leo looked away. "I took it without knowing what would happen."


Eleanor asked, "Why are you even telling us all of this? Are you betraying them?"


"Eleanor, I've realized that even if telling you this puts my life at risk, I don't want to feel remorse." Leo smiled.


"Why are you siding with us?" Eleanor asked.
