(At the Water kingdom)
Leo brought out a tiny mirror and told the people that were sitting beside him that he and Jack used the mirror to communicate with each other. Carson then asked where he got it.
Leo replied, "Jack gave it to me, of course."
"How about the note, Cam?" Carson asked.
Cameron leaned back on the sofa. "She's received it."
"Princess Kaycee?" Leo said.
"Yes, any problem with her?" Cameron responded.
"You do know that sending letters isn't recommended."
"Why not? We send her updates."
"Don't you know that your servants get to read it?"
"We know. That's why I put some mystery words they won't be able to understand because everything goes through Timothy and Julia."
"That's it! What if one of them is the culprit?" Olivia shouted.
Eleanor assumed, "I don't think they're involved with Jack."
"Do you remember Farah's death?" They must be—"
Without letting her finish, Cameron interrupted their conversation by telling them that it was Jay that killed Farah. He killed her because he wanted to give everyone a warning.
"Begin what?" Leo took a sip of his tea.
Cameron sighed, "Something most of you wouldn't understand."
"What's the use of telling us then?"
"It's nothing—"
"Speaking of that, I heard Jack mention something about the plan that was to be executed in a few months," Leo interrupted. "He said that he would it would be executed by the end of the year."
Cameron said, "Since Jack and Licia has been doubting Leo lately, we could assume that they've changed the plan."
"They wouldn't. Although things aren't going as planned, they have back up," Leo responded. "Their back up is their leader and their leader isn't an ordinary person. He's the most powerful man in the entire world. Also, An additional information, they are also after the red and blue gem."
Eleanor said, "They can't get the blue gem from me."
Leo responded, "They can just use you and kill you."
"They must be behind Aviana's death aren't they?"
"Yes, they are."
"I'll use the blue gem to protect them."
Leo then told her that she needed to learn how to control the blue gem's power because if she doesn't, she'll just end up hurting herself.
"I believe that Eleanor will be able to control the power of the blue gem, but what about my sword that contains the red gem?" Cameron said.
Leo smiled. "If you're the real owner of the sword, there's no problem with that."
"I am, but will I be able to control the power?"
"Of course you can, but you'll have to be cautious because once another person gets a hold of a gem he or she doesn't own, the owner of the gem can die."
"How do you know so much?" Carson asked.
Leo smirked. "It's the power of eavesdropping."
A few hours later...
(In Leo's room)
"Why weren't you updating me about Princess Eleanor and King Cameron?" a voice came out from the mirror.
"I was busy, Jack," Leo lied.
"Busy what? Wasting your time?"
"Look, I'm trying my best."
"Trying your best? We've given you more than enough time! How do you think you'll be able to win her heart if you have less than a month to live? You think your efforts are enough? You're just making things difficult for us."
"Then in the first place, why did you revive me? You just wasted your time."
"Well didn't you wanted to live again?" Jack asked.
Leo answered, "Not in a way where I would hurt Eleanor."
Jack then told him that if he loved her, he should fight till the end, but Leo didn't agree. He didn't want any regrets. He knew that he was about to die again soon and he didn't want to disappoint anyone.
Jack yelled, "You vile—"
"Why? Am I wrong? It's better to leave them alone," Leo interrupted.
"My point is, we need the stupid gem!"
"You don't have to worry. Leave it to me."
