(At the Earth kingdom)
Abigail sat down beside Gabriel and asked him where his parents were. Gabriel then told her that they had some unfinished business and have no idea when they're coming back.
Abigail smiled. "Now I know that reason why you've asked me to come."
Gabriel took a bite of his bread. "I have no one to talk to."
Abigail pointed at the woman cleaning the kitchen. "How about her?"
"You mean Ruby? My parents assigned her to look after me while they're away."
Abigail smiled. "She seems pretty nice."
"Her? Of course not!"
Abigail then explained that he should learn to appreciate Ruby because his parents begged her to look after him and she could've just disagreed, but she chose not to.
Gabriel sighed, "Whatever. It's a good thing you're here so that I can watch you in case you hang out with some other guy."
Abigail held his hand. "In your opinion, do you think that I'd lay my eyes on another man?"
"Probably. Who knows?"
"You dummy! Of course I won't. I'll wait for you."
Gabriel rolled his eyes. "As if you would."
"My feelings will never change. You'll be the only one in my heart," Abigail responded.
Gabriel pulled her into a hug. "How I wish you were—"
"Who allowed you to hug her?" Ruby interrupted.
"Ruby? What do you want?" Gabriel said.
Ruby then explained that they were still young and that he shouldn't hug Abigail because if Abigail's parents find out, he'll probably get scolded.
"I'm still a prince," Gabriel responded.
"That doesn't know his limits."
"Okay, fine. I'm at fault. You really act like my mother."
Ruby smirked. "It's my job to."
(At the village of Koral)
"Do we really have to stay here?" Jack put his backpack in the floor.
"We have no choice," Licia sighed.
"This is even worse than the place we used to stay in."
"Start practicing and stop talking," Jay interrupted.
"You expect me to practice all day in a place like this?"
"Don't make me lose my patience, Jack."
"I'm just stating facts."
"One more complain, and I'll really give you cut your head."
Jack laughed. "So scary!"
"Albert's been waiting for us. He can't proceed with the plan if you keep complaining."
"Isn't he the strongest among all of us? Why does he need help?"
"It's because he lacks something," Licia answered. "He lacks knowledge."
Jack laughed. "Knowledge? What can he get from us?"
"Hasn't he told you about the negative effect of his powers?"
"What is it?" Jack asked.
Licia laughed, "It's a secret."
"How dare—"
"Why? It's not my fault that you're not aware."
"Stop being capricious."
"Ask Jay."
Jack looked at Jay. "I need to know."
"Figure it out yourself. You've been talking to him for the past year," Jay responded.
"You're unbelievable."
Jack smiled. "No worries. You'll see it in a few days."
