(At the Water kingdom)
"How's my niece? Seems that I'll get to see her soon," Eleanor began.
"How did you know that it was a girl...?" Mia asked.
"I eavesdropped on your conversation with Mateo."
"You're really the—"
Before she was able to finish, Olivia suddenly came and told Eleanor that someone wanted to see her and that she should be prepared.
"We'll be out in a minute," Mia said.
Olivia responded, "I apologize, your majesty, but the guest wants some privacy. You can't go with her."
While Olivia and Eleanor were on there way to the throne room, Olivia said, "Your highness, this might be good news for you."
When Eleanor arrived, she saw a masked man sitting on one of the chairs in the throne room. She then went closer and began and asked who he was.
The man stood up. "Who do you think I am?"
"Please stop wasting my time. I have a lot of other things to finish."
"You really do not—"
Before he could even finish his sentence, Eleanor instantly removed his mask. As soon as she saw the man's face, her eyes widened and tears started falling from her eyes. Her heart started pounding and she was in deep astonishment. She then hugged him and shouted, "Dummy! Why did you just come back now? Do you know how worried I was? I thought you were dead!"
"I missed you, Eleanor."
The princess gently thumped his chest. "Cameron, you jerk! Why did you let me wait for so long?"
Cameron hugged her. "I apologize if I took too long. I was just—"
Without letting him finish his explanation, the princess wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his lips.
Eleanor broke the kiss. "I'm sorry, I should've pushed you away. I didn't expect that you'd disappear the next day, but just to let you know, despite everything we've been through, I've never stopped loving you. Not even for a second. You mean the world to me because I truly love you, Cameron."
Cameron bursted into laughter. "What are you saying? You're acting like it's the first time you've expressed your feelings to me."
"I-I just wanted to ask you a question, if you don't mind."
"I never wanted our relationship to end. Not now, not ever."
Eleanor looked away. "What are you saying? You haven't even heard my question yet."
Cameron tilted his head. "Weren't you suppose to ask if I'd still give you a second chance?"
"How did you know...?"
"I just guessed."
The Princess then asked him where the red gem was.
Cameron's eyes widened. "Your asking about that, and not me? Aren't you curious of what happened?"
"We can talk about that later. I just want to know if the sword that contains the red gem is still with you."
"It's with—"
"It's with me. Any problem with that?" a woman suddenly came and interrupted.
Eleanor responded, "You-You are..."
"It's nice seeing you again, Princess Eleanor." the woman smiled.
"Licia, What are you doing here?"
"Haven't you told her?" Licia said before looking at Cameron.
"About what?" Eleanor asked.
"Hasn't he told you that he didn't come here to—"
"Stop it, Licia," Cameron interrupted.
Licia shouted, "Why? Are you changing you're mind now? You won't tell her what you're really here for?"
"I love Eleanor."
"Haven't we made a deal? You'd tell her that you don't love her, and you love me!"
"What is she saying, Cameron?" the princess asked.
"She used to be the woman I loved. She's the one who saved me," Cameron answered.
"I found his body floating in shore, and he said that he wanted to get back with me," Licia added.
As soon as Eleanor heard what they said, she felt like everything was falling apart. She didn't know how to react. Her heart was breaking. How could Cameron do this to her? What has she done to make him betray her? She loved him truly, but why does it make her heart break? Hearing those words made her wanna walk out. She wanted to shout and cry, but she couldn't do anything about it. The man who she truly loved broke her heart, but why can't she hate him? She then realized she really loved him cause she can't blame him for breaking her heart.
Eleanor clenched her fist. "So you were flirting with another woman while I was here, waiting for you to come back? I trusted you! I knew that I wasn't your first love, but I didn't care because I know that you'd never do such a thing to hurt me!"
Cameron grabbed her shoulders. "Eleanor, you don't understand. Licia trapped—"
"Enough. Let me make this clear, princess. I was Cameron's first love and I'm never letting him go. We both love each other, so just go find yourself another man," Licia interrupted.
Cameron held Eleanor's arm. "I love Eleanor. We're over, Licia. Don't bring up the past."
"You actually fooled me? I let you go because you said that you'd tell her about our relationship!" Licia shouted.
Cameron rolled his eyes. "Well, I changed my mind. Any problem with that?"
Tears started falling from Licia's eyes. "I can't believe that I fell for a liar."
