Ch. 5 Sheela gets her job back

I drop by the coffee shop and get a coffee before heading to the hotel to where Sheela was. Orlando let me have the day off, for me to go talk to Sheela. I arrived at the hotel and walked inside, Sheela wasn't at the front desk, so I ask the lady there where she was.

"I'll go get her, wait here." She says.

I wait a little bit and she comes back with Sheela. I say to Sheela that I need to speak to her in private. We go into a room, and I start to slowly introduce the topic she hates.

"You know where I work." I say.

"Yeah, why?"

"I was wondering if you could, would you go back and work there?"

"It would be nice if I could return to smell the flowers."

"But you won't because of Orlando." She nods. "What if I said he wouldn't bother you anymore because he wouldn't live to see another day." She's baffled at what I say, "I will make sure of that so don't you worry. You're safe to now go back there and work and remember I will always be there." She starts crying and hugs me saying, "Thank you, thank you." in-between her sobs. I hugged her back and don't say any more.

She lets go of me wiping her tears away. "When do I go back to work?" She asks waiting for my answer.

"I can say the earliest is tomorrow." She twirls with a smile on her face, then she stops and says, "I need to get back to work, sorry. But I will go tomorrow, ok?"

I walk out the door, get in my car and call Orlando. He takes a little bit to pick up.

"Hey, why ya call?"

"Sheela's coming tomorrow; I'm calling to make sure you remember what I said."

"Oh, I remember alright." I laugh in my head.

"I was thinking that after we close up the shop that we go see your leader."

"Sure, that's fine."

"Can you tell me what your leader is like?" I ask, wanting at least something from him.

"He knows how to fight and won't take lightly to you wanting to see him." Hmm, of course he won't take me lightly, like he doesn't know who I am. Not that I'll tell him.

"Kind of expected. That's great. And anytime I'm not with Sheela; I don't want you doing anything stupid. She will tell me if anything happens." I say in an order like tone of voice.

"Getting bossy, are we?" I know he's smiling.

"I'll see you tomorrow." I say ready to end the conversation.

"Wait, you're really pretty."

"Bye." I hung up on him and drove into the parking space and head into my apartment.

I sit on my makeshift bed and think of how to take on this leader. Definitely bringing the gun with me and showing them who's the real boss. I love the idea of taking over this gang and rising up. I'm sure a lot of things will need to be redone and learned.

I'm glad Sheela has her job back; it will be much easier to look after her. She will become someone I can trust stuff with and bring her business with me. She sure loves to spend time with flowers, might make that a great job in the future for her.

Just thinking about what could be in my gasps in the future when I take my revenge. Sounds very nice to know that I will get his gang and kill them all not leaving a single one alive.

I still need to get Orlando and his leader to follow me and only me. I will rise their ranks and give them wealth they never imagined.

Going on my phone and checking the news. Looks like they stopped looking for me, that's good. They say I might have died or sold to be a slave. The things they come up with, throwing theory after theory. I sigh and put my phone down. Lying down I fall into a deep sleep dreaming a peaceful dream.

There were people all around, I saw the flower shop and walk towards it. Sheela was there with Orlando giving me smiles and then they turn to look to the left. I followed their gazes and see someone walking towards us. All of a sudden everything turns white and this person who still is walking towards me is all black. It grabs my hands and pulls me into itself, and it moves its hands to where both were now on my hips and mine were around it's neck. It leans in and so do I, my lips touch it's lips, and it lasts some seconds before we pull away from each other. Pulling me out of my dream leaving me full of confusion.
