Emery would have liked nothing more than to beat up the two grand magus guards and pull the arrogant Nephilim female out of the pool, but he knew such an act could lead to more trouble with the Earth faction. Frustration simmered within him, but he kept it in check.

Ashaka, sensing the rising tension, took a deep breath and advised, "Let's wait."

Unfortunately, another hour passed, and the Nephilim woman showed no sign of finishing anytime soon. Emery's patience was wearing thin, but he decided to hold his temper and called out to leave, avoid trouble, and reschedule for another day.

Just as they turned, a male figure approached them from behind. His presence was immediately recognizable.

"Here you are, my young friend. You finally came out of your hall," said the man, his voice casual yet commanding.
