"I prefer not to call your grandfather a friend, Ms. Baek," Hwang Bo Bae returned and crossed her arms. She would never wish to call him a friend, nor want to be in a close relationship.

"Then, are you… my grandfather's ex?"

"Haha!"

Hwang Bo Bae let out a short laugh because of the question. She did not know if his granddaughter was being stupid or innocent. Was it a joke or a curious query? Did she hear it correctly?

"You're making me want to vomit, Ms. Baek." She could only hold her laughs. Hwang Bo Bae wiped the tears coming out of her eyes. "No, I would never wish."

"Hehe, yes, it's making me vomit, too," Young Mirae laughed awkwardly.

She scratched the back of her head. It turned out that Young Mirae's guess was not right, and it appeared the president hated that her fake grandfather. But why was he so famous to everyone in this field?

"Your grandfather and I are mere acquaintances. More like we have an employer and employee relationship. Just none other than that," Hwang Bo Bae revealed.

Proceeding, she said, "I adored his talent, and he loved the money he's getting from my company. Like you, he came into my office and asked for a job that would pay him substantial money. He killed hundreds of profiles like an obedient employee he was. Not until he sent me his resignation, of course."

"I am going to love it here, too, for sure," muttered Young Mirae with only the money in her mind. It was essential for her to earn faster, so she could start her revenge early.

Hwang Bo Bae coughed once and assured, "Ms. Baek Sunhi, you are going to receive a minimum of ten million won for the low profiles and a minimum of seventy million won for the high profiles. The bonuses and tips are still not included."

Young Mirae's eyes widened, and she brought her hands to her mouth. She heard Hwang Bo Bae continued, "We never accept simple paid killings. We do it with contracts signed by the client and a hitman, such as you."

'I, I'm a hitman now,' she stammered the word in her head. Young Mirae reacted as though she received a top award. 'I can earn millions of won in one mission. Holy shit, this is fucking crazy—'

"Refrain from being excited, Ms. Baek. Remember, satisfy the client, charm them to receive a tip, and complete the mission without a mistake."

"Yes, Mrs. President!" Young Mirae exclaimed, sending a salute.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow for our contract signing. I'm going to give you your codename by then, too."

Young Mirae nodded frantically. After having their discussion, the president tasked her to call for the two people before she took her to leave. Soon as Young Mirae completed this, she headed home early.

Inside the storage room, Hwang Bo Bae signaled for Yuta and the female employee to come close.

Till then, she confessed, "Her grandfather was a human weapon I made within the years. A molded machine which I'm very proud of. It was such a waste to send him away. But I hope I can make another this time around."

"...And maybe consider not to break it this time as well, Mrs. Hwang," butted the female employee.

"Who are you to say that?"

"I'm your secretary," the secretary answered in a flat tone.

"Hm." Deadpanned, Hwang Bo Bae puffed an air. "I'll try my best."

While talking to her secretary, something entered her mind.

The way the fight between the granddaughter and Yuta ended as though it was a battle between a python and its preyed alligator. This thought gave Hwang Bo Bae an idea of the codename she was going to give to the new hitman.

Approximately one hour earlier, just two hours after the clock pointed to lunchtime, Park Wonho parked the car in front of Hwang Bo Bae's company.

He reached for the folder that contained a prominent person profile. The boss ordered Park Wonho to read it before sending it to Hwang Bo Bae.

Yesterday, after they adjourned the meeting, they called him to see the boss. Henceforth, the two had an agreement, which must reach no one.

"A month ago, the Underboss had successfully found a valuable person to spy for the Lee family. But the Boss suspects the spy," Park Wonho muttered, "and now he wants me to show him I am worthy of the Underboss' finger."

Fuck, yeah right.

Park Wonho was the reason the underboss lost a middle finger. But the ones who actually caused this trouble were none other than his two idiot pets: Kim Dong and Ban Seo.

Tsk, what happened had happened. There was no button to undo this mess.

All that Park Wonho could do now was save himself before the boss cut his neck. He had to prove to him whatever was necessary to get his trust.

He bit his inner cheek. Opening the profile folder, Park Wonho read the information about the spy.

"Lee Ryeo, older brother of the current boss of the Lee family, Lee Shin. He holds a deep grudge to Lee Shin because he couldn't take the golden seat, blah blah blah."

Park Wonho turned the page and read the other information about Lee Ryeo. "He became the spy of the Ryeom family two months ago, in exchange for killing his brother. He is also in an odd relationship with his niece, Lee Hae — oh?"

He paused and reread the details. "I think therefore the Boss is careful of him. Lee Ryeo could or could not have spilled something to Lee Hae. Whichever it is, Boss wants to make sure by silencing them both."

Park Wonho knew his boss was meticulous enough to plan this. This would be the best measure to take before stressful trouble sprung.

"I should bring this in now." He fixed the papers inside the folder. Park Wonho was about to leave his car when someone caught his eye. "What is this idiot doing...?"

Looking straight to Park Wonho through the tilted window, the crazy woman talked, "Wow, that looks so disgusting. Is that a booger in your eye?"

And after a second, she replied to herself, "Wow, that looks horrible. Is that a face on your neck?"

Park Wonho could not hold a chuckle. He watched the amusement unfold and end.

"Mama, mama. That lady is talking to herself in the mirror."

"That is not a normal lady but a crazy one right there, child," he cracked out. Weirdly enough, although she looked like shit, Park Wonho could not bring himself to call her ugly.

"What's her name again? Baek Sunhi?" Slowly, even though he didn't want to admit it, Park Wonho found himself curious about her. "Why does she keep showing at the oddest times?"
