"Amara, you had a good sleep last night?"

"Yes, dad I did. How was yours? It must have been uncomfortable for you to sleep on the couch."

"No dear but I am glad, you had a good sleep."

Avery just smiled at her.

"Dad do you have any idea where is…"

She wanted to say Joshua but she remembered how her father dislikes him so she changed it to "Dad do you have any idea where is Amelia?"

"Oh, she and that brat Joshua, they went out to buy a Christmas tree."

"Oh" Amara was slightly disappointed that she was sleeping till so late so she missed a chance to go with them.

"Yeah, since uncle Michael suddenly made a decision to host Christmas party at home, they had to go to buy a tree and some other necessity stuff."

"Oh okay" 

"Are you hungry? Should I ask the cooks to prepare something for you?"

"No dad, I am not hungry" She lost her appetite and disappointedly went back to her room.
