I held out my hand to block the third pistol gun from Luffy in a row, barely feeling the impact even though his fist was covered in haki, "Remember to picture the haki flowing through your body and shooting out your fist. I don't even need to use my Haki to stop your attacks, and you want to be the pirate king!"
Luffy's growled, and he started to wind up stretching out his arm to pick up speed, "I'm going to be the pirate king, and there's nothing you can do to stop me!" I smirked, and when Luffy sent his fist flying, I held out my palm again, but I coated it in haki.
As our hands collided, it sounded like a gong. Instead of snapping back to his body, Luffy's arm fell to the ground limply. "As you are right now, there is no way that we are getting onto that Island, and that goes for the rest of you as well."
I looked over the deck of Akuma at the rest of the Strawhat crew, who was training with one of my clones. Luffy insisted that the rest of his crewmates be on the trip, and I didn't have the time to argue with him.
I ended up interrupting the entire crew during their two-year time skip, so I ended up becoming a teacher for all eight pirates. While I was working with Luffy to improve the quality of his haki, my clones were using the skills I had accumulated over my long profession.
Sanji screamed as he kicked the metal pole my clone was holding. Repeating this process would shatter his shin bones, creating miniature fractures that my clone healed to build a stronger bone.
While it was painful, his leg would eventually become like iron, and once he learned haki, Sanji might even be able to contest with Cal. "What's the point of doing all this? How is this going to help me?"
I shivered as Nami's harpy voice assaulted my clone's ears, "I told you being able to control the weather alone is a powerful tool. But imagine how much more power you'll get from infusing your bullets with lightning or icy."
Nami glared at my clone before she turned back around and started to take shots at the target a few meters away. I was impressed by the results, "You came close to hitting a bullseye. If you keep this up, you might replace Ussop as the crew's sharpshooter."
"Hey!" Ussop shouted out in defiance, but the clone watching over him smacked him with a stick, "Pay attention, you still need to remember the seed shape, and tell me their name and purpose." Ussop was one of the cases where I didn't have to teach him anything. His aim needed no improvement, and with my help, he would be a crucial part of controlling the flow of battle with his plants.
Turning my attention back to Luffy, I watched his arm come back to life and snap back to his body, "You know out of all your friends, you've made the least progress. I thought as a captain. You would want to lead by example.
During his training, I had constantly berated Luffy, knowing that it wouldn't break him, only push him to be stronger. His devil fruit really did fit his personality.
Luffy scowled and bit down on his thumb and blowing into it. Luffy transformed into snakeman before he charged me using blasts of air, "Chase him Python!"
Luffy's arm coiled back like a spring before shooting forward. I sidestepped the first attack and noted that it was going much slower than the move he used versus Katikuri, 'He still not even at that level?'
My concern grew much more, and I turned around and punched meeting Luffy's head-on. For once, I felt my arm shake from the recoil. "Oh, I felt something that time. Come on, show me what you got."
As Luffy started to attack me, I turned out of the fight and into the clone who was currently meditating with Zorro. Both the swordsman and I were sitting on thin wooden planks suspended on stilts.
Reaching into a pouch by my side, I threw a cashew nut into the air using my thumb. In one smooth motion, Zorro pulled out his sword cutting the nut in half.
Catching the remnants, I smiled when I saw the results, "I think I'm underestimating you a bit. I can see why Mihawk accepted you as a student."
Zorro bowed his head in thanks, "Sensei told me that the both of you fought once. He called you equals. Tell me, what was it like fighting the greatest swordsman in the world?"
I was silent for a moment, "In terms of raw skill, Mihawk has me beat, but I've learned to use the powers I have, giving me the edge. When you fight him you'll see why he's called the best the control he has over his blade is unmatched. Any other questions?"
Zorro dipped his head again, "Yeah, I have to ask why is there another presence living inside your body?" I cracked a smile as Zorro displayed his innate sixth sense. Holding out my palm I let Sanguinem pool into my hand.
"No one else has been able to sense Sanguinem, I'm surprised you were able to." Zorro's eyes widened as he stared at the sword, "A meito blade, but how is it inside your body?!"
I grinned, "Maybe one day I'll tell you, but for now you have more nuts to slice."
